About this ebook
The Adventures of Hector and Boris are a series of children's adventure stories about a boy who gets to drive and have adventures in the most "AWESOMEST" car in the world, BORIS.
The stories are meant to be read with parents and take around 30 to 45 minutes to read, the ideal bedtime story.
Hector is a boy with an extraordinary secret. He gets to drive the most “awesomest” car in all the world.
The car called BORIS belongs to his family and was built by his Dad an engineering inventing genius.
Boris can fly as an aeroplane or helicopter, be a boat, or hovercraft, as well as a car and with Hector at the wheel they go on some fantastic and daring adventures.
The Hunt for the White Tiger Cub sees our Hero, Hector, along with his sister, Tilly and Ned the Zoo security Chief, head off to an island on the east coast of Wales in BORIS to rescue the White Tiger Cub.
The Tiger cub was stolen by Thomas French a man with a small army of animal hunters who wants to add him to the large collection of rare animals, which live on his own private island. He has turned his island into an animal park full of stolen rare animals.
The cub gets stolen from London zoo, and flown to French’s island, with our hero’s in hot pursuit.
After landing close to the island in the sea, BORIS transforms into a hover Craft to get to land and then they sneak inland to rescue the tiger.
After tying up Henson, French’s vet, they get The Tiger back and fly their way back to London Zoo avoiding the machine guns of French’s plane that’s in pursuit.
They get the Tiger back just in the nick of time for the official opening ceremony with special Guest, Prince Harry.
After all their adventuring a tired brother and Sister meet up with their parents and Margo, their Mum, treats them to Hector’s favourite meal, Hot sausage rolls and chips and of course, not forgetting the tomato sauce..... YUM.
this is the second book in the series of The Adventures of Hector and Boris.

It was during the Christchurch earthquakes of 2011. My son who was 7 at the time had suffered terribly. "tell me a story he would say." so that's when it started. Hector is my son's name, and Boris was our car. He was a 1984 Mercedes 230E, and built like a tank. We often went to sit in him in the street after an aftershock, we felt safe in him, nothing was going to fall on him and if it did we figured we would be pretty safe, he quickly became one of the family. So they became the hero's of my stories. For 4 weeks we slept under our solid dining room table, and I made up the adventures of our 2 hero's, Hector and Boris and their fight against the bad guys of the world, the stories lasted for half and hour or so, just long enough for my son to fall asleep into his own little dream world away from all his problems. It was he who said I should write them down and publish them so that other kids throughout the world could have their parents tell them a great adventure before they went to bed, so here they are. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as Hector and Myself enjoyed them during those hard times.

Professor Brookes and his family were on holiday in London. They had come as a special treat for Hector’s sister Tilly’s birthday. Tilly was very fond of animals and when she was old enough wanted to become an animal adventurer and travel the world saving rare species from extinction with her pet Labrador Flossy.
They had come to London Zoo to see the first appearance in public of the new born white tiger cub.
Prince Harry was going to be the special guest who was going to make a speech and open the gate that allows the tigers to come into the outside enclosure where they can be viewed by the public. The little tiger cub was going to be named Hazzer in his honour.
As Tilly was so excited her Mum, Margo, and Dad, Professor Brookes, had decided to go to the zoo at opening time so that they could have a good look round at all the other animals and exhibits.
As they got out of BORIS a small red van sped past them and out of the car park gates.
Someone is in a hurry,
said Professor Brookes as they walked over to the main entrance gates.
A week earlier on a small island off the coast of Wales a tall man was standing on the verandah of his mansion watching his collection of rare spider monkeys having their breakfast.
