A 13-year-old teenager appears to have officially beaten the classic video game, Tetris. Willie Gibson, from Oklahoma, uploaded a 42-minute video to YouTube showing the moment he reaches level 157. Gasping “I can’t feel my fingers, I can’t feel my hands… I’m going to pass out,” Gibson spent just 38-minutes of play before causing the game to crash, an event reportedly never achieved by a human. Until now, only Artificial Intelligence computers appear to have successfully reached the true ending of Tetris. Created by Soviet engineer, Alexey Pajitnov in 1984, the popular puzzle involves the user manoeuvring and arranging falling blocks to create complete lines which then disappear.
