teenager has broken a Guinness World Record after assembling an 11,695 piece LEGO World Map in nine hours, 14 minutes and 49 seconds. Cooper Wright from the Cumberland Center claims to have been building LEGO creations for around ten years. The 13-year-old successfully smashed the previous record of 12 hours saying, “That was probably harder than any other one I’ve done... It’s not like this where they’re like in all different ways and shapes, it’s one board and you put them in like pegs.” There was a moment where Wright feared his record breaking attempt was in jeopardy when his table collapsed sending Lego pieces crashing to the ground.
