By day, I work as a receptionist in a dental office. By night, I'm an erotic author. On the weekends I'm a photographer taking naughty pics of my friends. I write erotica because I've had my heart broken so many times it's pathetic. It's an escape, and a way to make a little extra money. More than the money, I've made some really good friends over the past two years. They've told me what they like and don't like about my stories. I appreciate each and every one of them.

    Chapter One

Kelly and her sister had lived together in their mother’s house since she passed away last year.  Kelly was the younger of the two children. In fact she was 30 years younger than her sister.  She never knew how what really happened - maybe it was by accident - or maybe they wanted one more child in their September days.  At this point it really didn’t matter - Kelly had always been the baby and her sister had always been somewhat of a mother figure to her and a protector.

Kelly sister was also a matchmaker.  To Kelly chagrined, her sister inevitably tried to hook her up with any guys she came across.  It cost her more than one relationship and more than one argument between her and her sister.

Had Kelly Byrd had known this was how her day was going to end, she would have worn a much less expensive blouse. She would have picked out one, maybe not somewhat so revealing, considering she was nearly flashing the crowd which had gathered. As it was, the blouse was ruined. And, it was an expensive blouse said that.  One that her mother had given her on her last birthday. She would’ve given anything to have kept that blouse.

Looking down at the remaining ruins then looking across at her sister’s pleasant smiling-face, her wrinkled cheeks glowing with the hint of a flame-burn, Kelly started to laugh. If it was a bit panic-stricken, surely that was to be expected.

Ma’am? A fireman looked over his shoulder at her. His dark, shaggy eyebrows rose. Is everything fine? he asked. The man was trying to make an assessment of the situation in an emergency management sort of way.

Choking on her own saliva as she tried to soften her laughter, she bent over at the waist, pounding her chest.  I cannot believe this is happening -this can’t be happening to me.  But it was, it was happening nonetheless.

Her skirt, already laying a bit higher up her thigh than normal office attire, but a favorite of her boss’s, rode even higher, displaying her toned thighs and long legs. Kelly had magnificent legs and she enjoyed showing them off on appropriate occasions.  However this was not an appropriate occasion.  She also had on a thong that she was sure everyone had had a glance at.  The only thing she could possibly hope for now is that her muff wasn’t showing.

In a second, the fireman was beside her, his muscular hand on her shoulder gave her comfort. His voice full of authority and concern as he attempted to help her up and out of harm’s way.  This man truly was a lifesaver - and a handsome lifesaver that.

If she’d been listening to him things would have been better. She wasn’t. She was thinking back to how this whole night had begun.  Kelly was beside herself - and even though people were talking to her it all sounded muffled in her ears.

Her sister had called her out of the blue, in a tizzy over some amazing gossip. Having invited her friend to visit her for dinner, her sister had immediately hung up the phone. It wasn’t the
