Location: Hilaga City Locked Archives Hall, Hilaga City. Ifrit.
I rub my hand across the long wooden table, situated between two giant bookshelves. The soft grooves run against my palm - soothing and distracting me from the overwhelming thoughts about the woman in the mirror, and her bright glowing blue eyes. A green ancient book lays open, halfway revealing too much and too little at the same time. I look around and gaze upon the unaccountable number of books and shelves in the Hilaga City Locked Archives, essentially a library that holds the key to our past.
She had bright glowing blue eyes and she did step out of the mirror. She did pull me up. She did talk to me. I did not imagine it. I could not have imagined it. I should have told Master Selym, but I chose not to.
"Azilah, listen to your heart. You know who you are. Do you know who you should be?" Her voice keeps echoing in my head, even as I try my best to concentrate on looking for clues in the green book, The mysterious Amanah treaty.
Do I know who I should be? Is that even a question I should be asking. I am a loyal Hilaga servant. I can’t concentrate any more. I have tried my best to read the treaty, the minute details have bored me. I convince myself that to get back to my current task I need to start by summarising on so far what I have read. So far I know that the Amanah treaty has a small portion about peace requirements amongst the three warring parties - to be precise, it is a war between only two parties - the humans and Azzah citizens against Hilaga. There's a significant portion of pages dedicated to the lengthy protocols on communication between Azzah, Hilaga and the humans.
The only thing I had found on inter-world travel is that only four people are allowed to perform such travel. The first being The Great Conjurer Jawad of Hilaga. Maybe he could talk to us and help us. He is from Hilaga, though no one really knows where he is and what he does. He no longer represents Hilaga City Council interests. I wonder why.
The second person has a name written in an ancient language that the people in Azzah used to use. Unfortunately, I cannot read it. The only symbols I can decipher are those that represent fearless and brave. Whoever this person is he or she is likely to be alive as the city of Azzah no longer exists.
I look at the third name, but the name has faded away, the ink a mere shadow of a shadow on the aged paper. I hold the page against the light but nothing. No clue whatsoever on whom this person. How inconvenient.
The fourth named person is only titled as the human leader of the Gergasi Clan. Why have I heard of them before? How come they have the ability to travel between our worlds? The humans have inferior technology and yet this person from the Gergasi Clan can travel to Hilaga without using our MATA portal.
Strangely enough, a large chunk of the Amanah treaty is about resource sharing, on how the three groups are to work together on a
