Have a certain itch that needs to be scratched and you don't know which horny - uh, er, "thorny" - Rose story and book to use to satisfy that need? Parade of Roses to the rescue!
As a super-big, bonus (*bonus*... bonUS! Quit saying it with an 'er' at the end! I'm not that kind of girl.) I've included the first part of every book I've released to help you get some idea about my general style. Although I do continue to keep my Truth and Consequences sections to these stories available only to those intelligent folk that appreciate high-class, women-friendly erotica and purchase the original title (Honesty? It's because I sometimes get a little too raw and TMI for comfort back there in the truth section, so it's also for my own benefit. You know, like wearing a robe, even if you tie it loose, you've still got it tied - so you feel better about yourself. Well, just so long as no one points out, "Hey! You're shaved!" because I've happily felt it covering both sides of my chest and I fail to realize that 'cleavage' (oh, as if - in my dreams... these little kittens can't create a valley without serious help) gap in a robe extends down below the belly button. Yup, putting on panties would've been a great idea - where were you when I was getting dressed for this demonstration?).
Plus, if all goes well, when I update the collective, "You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile." I mean, you'll get a notice a new edition of the book is available for download (at least if you add the book to your 'library'). Sounded like a nifty way to keep those interested in new releases on top of things, as it looks like I'm back in the saddle again... behind the keyboard, at least.
This book is the perfect price, so why the heck are you still reading this instead of downloading it and reading THAT instead?

Born a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... no, wait, that wasn't me, but sometimes it certainly seems like it.Before getting into all the fun details, I want to clear the air of a rather large aspect of my writing because it has a huge impact on my work: I have HSDS (Hypoactive Sexual Desire Syndrome). In fact, if it weren't for my HSDS, I wouldn't be here and you wouldn't be there reading this - my previously unpublished writings were explorations into kick-starting my, ahem, 'motor.' I tried to explore anything that might cause a little tingle below, even ideas and concepts my thinking brain refused to hear. Creating an alter-ego in my stories allowed me to safely penetrate the veil of non-existence - I was forced to think about sexy thoughts and situations.I wrote for years covering a wide range of topics, my husband providing a large number of seedlings from which to grow my stories (HSDS... what do you expect? Much to my dismay, what I learned to expect was very raunchy pillow-talk. Much to his dismay, he learned to expect me to leap from bed saying, "Oh! That is so good, I've got to write it down!"). It turns out, writing romantic erotica usually wasn't doing it for me. I gave up on it for a period of time - in essence, I gave up trying to help myself, as well.Then my significant's bright idea: if it didn't help me, maybe it would help someone else. I was back to writing again, or more correctly, preparing my work for release unto an unsuspecting public (I have now officially absolved myself from any evil that befalls you after reading my books - it's all his fault). So I dredged up my folder of rough and unpolished stories - damn, I wrote this much? No wonder I wasn't having sex, I was busy writing about it. (Fib alert: so not true it's not funny. Not the 'not having sex' part, but the lack of bedroom action wasn't really due to my writing.)An odd thing happened, though, as I was rereading my material and editing it. I felt a little something that I hadn't experienced in a long time. I actually felt a little tingle from down below. That soft little call, while editing some stories, started to get a little louder - still very quiet, but it was most certainly there where it hadn't been for decades. I gave in to the siren call almost immediately - surprised the hell out of my husband (thank goodness it wasn't the UPS guy at the door during those moments). Complete, spontaneous, due-to-my-doing rumpy-bumpy. Holy humper, Batman, I'm fixed!I wish. It disappeared again, just as easily slipping back into my 'normal abnormal' routine of never thinking about it within hours. Back to editing. Being the patient sort, I allowed myself to edit a whole three paragraphs before anguish sets in, "It's not working! Ah! I'm broken forever!" Luckily, I have a never say die attitude (Fib alert: ... no, wait, this isn't my stories where I have to include a 'truth' section - let me have my freaking moment), and said, "Piss on it, I'm still going to release my work. I've come this far."And so it went - although much to my joy (and my hubby's) - every so often, I'd find myself showing such obvious responses to passages, it was apparent to even an HSDS girl - and we'd make joy (sometimes several times) to the situation. I wasn't fixed, but at least I had a crutch.Which leaves me editing my old material, exploring new, and tormenting you with it - where I hope it does you some good, too. If it can't make you happy that way, I hope it'll at least provide you a little laugh the other way - especially since I do provide a 'Truth and Consequences' side to all my stories at the end of each book where I detail the nitty-gritty and harsh reality of every piece. This allows everyone's inner voyeur to be released because my HSDS does a great job of preventing me from grasping 'TMI,' so I tend to spill my guts back there in my books.As for my bio (side note: doesn't that make it an 'auto-bio?'), I'm a cute, twenty-one year-old (Fib Alert! Oh my Lord! If you're writing fantasy-fiction, at least make it believable!) - crap, okay, fine, I'm old enough to probably be your sister - from a second marriage - so we're not blood related, which means you don't have to get all weirded out about reading sex stuff about me) - and I live in the Pacific Northwest where I am still happily married to my first husband (very funny - he edits my other fibs so I have to tell the truth, but leaves the happily married one)... at least until he reads the final published product where I changed the truth section in every book back to being brutally honest contrary to his corrections.And, yes, that is me on the cover of all my books, but I'm not spilling the beans here, you have to read the book.

Introduction - Here Comes the Parade

Why? Because.

I know, that's lame, but seriously... because I'm tired of trying to figure out in which collection of tales a particular story resides.

You'd think this should be easy - I wrote it. Instead, please remember, some of these stories have developed over years, like the many that sit unfinished in my thoughts and ideas folder. So when they finally decide to come to full fruition in final form, they aren't that linear from original thought (as if I could remember that journey)... which means I think every story is either in my very first book or the last one out (whichever that was, because, you see, I do have this memory lapse thing for anything dealing with sex or sexy topics, which oddly enough, includes my own books).

Who would've thunk it? The Wandering World of Rose has become a land without borders... or at the very least, without well-thought-out margins of personal space and TMI. Throughout these meandering tales of truth and prose, the world itself has changed; not the least of which is the rules and regulations of proper publication dictating 'allowed' and 'not-gonna-happen, sister.' (Even if the previously possible was within the bounds of politically correct (and permitted in a book)... the times, they are a changin' - only I'm not changing with them, it would seem.)

Long, drawn-out way to say, some of my stories, articles, and reports appearing in what has become a vast array of books and collections, get referenced in other material. Sometimes in a passing glance; other times, full-on, sweat-behind-the-knees, I need a nap involvement. More often than not, niggling little corrections, addendums, and conundrums are addressed in Question & Answer Sessions with Rose entries. Occasionally those future footnotes provide additional insight and would normally be issued in an updated edition of the book. Unfortunately those changes mentioned in the first paragraph mean I can't easily release a revised publication and expect easy approval. Instead, I change anything in a book and attempt the 'upload new version' almost guarantees the book will not be approved... then the kicker: I can't say, Oh! Sorry, call the whole thing off, then - flip back to the old version, okay? Which can't happen. So then I'm fighting to keep my ancient book viable and out of the rubbish bin - because out of 50,000 words, I added seven and corrected the spelling on four others. In this effort, I'm often forced to delete huge swaths of previously approved material; biting, scratching, and clawing my way through keeping the book alive and available... or at the very least having to reclassify the book, change categories, and sweat all the publication details. Thus, the book hasn't been improved by my efforts, but damaged. Dammit, I'm damaged enough with HSDD, I don't need more.

That's where I've started to rely upon the Q&A to rescue some of the That's completely worth adding to the story material; only the breadth of Q&A sessions is now having a brush with double-digits (not to be confused with having one's rear entrance brushed with a single digit - which is oh-so-wrong-but-oh-so-right).

Plus, it turns out when you write long enough, you start referencing your own previously published material. You know, those Publish or Perish folks that self-reference and cite their own studies (I can't be the only one that glances through the reference section of a book or paper to see how extensive the authors' entries are in the same paper).

And so I present to you, in this long-winded and boring introduction (well, except the quick reference to anal sex - which I will not cite below, because it's embarrassing enough that little digital brush against the backdoor results in a gush of gratitude, so to say), a citation reference for your cross-referencing convenience. Please note: this citation section is a work in progress to catch all the weird-and-wacky ways I can find material cropping up in a new field (sort of like weeds: every time you think you got 'em all, wait a few hours and somehow another dandelion has managed to pop up - good thing I sort of like dandelions... and you thought my neighbors all moved away just because of my lack of filters and non-existant TMI switch as detailed in Block Party!) ).

Currently the citation list above only contains: Corn Rose, Morning Rose, On the Rose Again, Prehistoric Rose ... because I'm lazy. I mean, because I'm experimenting if this is even worth the effort or is useful to anybody. (I often make the mistake of presuming folks that write me have read all the past material released prior to our intersection of lives - which, as you might guess, is nearly always incorrect. I figure this list would give us an easy way to track all the details that tend to slowly ooze out (often against my will) about a particular event or story (yes, in air quotes - far too much of my fiction is far less fictional than it should be. (Stupid. Damn. Mosquitoes.)) By having a citation list: voila! I can quickly discern the location for 'the rest of the story;' or for the interminably curious, clues to seek enlightenment before writing me... which is weird that a pile of people seem nervous or afraid to write an author of a book. To all those damaged souls out there who have been mercilessly trashed and abused by previous famous people or authors, I apologize. Write me - I'll write back and only poke mild fun at you (just kidding), but I will include a picture. Although if you do the background work using a citation list, I'm more likely to spill more of my guts about the gooey details since you'll already know all the minimally embarrassing aspects I'd usually use to delay the onset of, Ehrm, I know because some moron had a camera. Kink Finder... the Master Subject Index. Who the hell has time to remember exactly where that (pant) story is when you (heavy breathing) absolutely, positively (oh-there-almost...) need it? Master Index to the Rescue! (Section title changed because a certain family member kept referring to it as such so freaking often, I accidentally started calling it the Kink Finder as well.) (2020 Update: well, isn't that just special. Turns out, I've gotten really lazy over the years and just call it the Kinkdex - like Rolladex or Kink Index. So if you hear such in our conversations... Arranged such that:

Subject (Title)

Where Title is the Tale where said desired subject is located; Tale-Tru means said desired topic is actually located more predominantly in the Truth section to that story (don't judge me, dammit! And for crying out loud, quit pointing out there's a '-tru' in that anal section, okay?! Stupid damn non-fiction crap.) If I was unsure which was more pertinent, I added '+Tru' to the title, so the kink-of-the-moment-club is spread somewhat evenly between tale and truth sections. Secondary note: When more than three occurrences pop up in a book (Rose Art being the worst offender), I resorted to just using the entire collection book title.) For novels, specific topics falling in a particular chapter will be denoted by Book Ch # where, hold your breath, Book is the title of the novel and Ch # is the individual chapter holding your squick-of-the-moment.
