About this ebook
The Stiletto Girls was created when Glenna West, C. Deanne Rowe, and Maggie Rivers took a much needed break from life and spent a week sitting on the deck of Glenna’s antebellum home on a lake.
When three writers get together with lap-tops, books and enough good ol’ Southern food to supply an army, fun things happen. Enjoy three short stories from three different authors!

Reviews for Stilettos in Wine Country
3 ratings2 reviews
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A fan of wine and romance stories, I knew I was in for a treat when I received this anthology. I love the concept with each novella being a different heat rating: sweet, sensual, steamy. The authors use chili peppers to denote heat, which makes it great for readers to enjoy the stories that appeal to their particular tastes. Since I love all heat levels of romance, I read all three novellas. One of the reasons that I wanted to review this book as well is the unique concept created by these three authors, who are collectively known as The Stiletto Girls. All three share a love of shoes and writing, and these shared joys bring them together in a superb collaboration. This is a self-published book, which shows that authors can create great platforms around the writing which brings them joy. With summer reading season just around the corner, this book would make a great addition to the beach bag or the kindle. Put a glass of good wine in your hand, hold the book with your other, and enjoy. The first novella, Cantrell Vineyards, is a touching story of a woman's work to rebuild the vineyard she'd created with her late husband and carry on their shared dream. When the man whom her husband had saved comes to the vineyard to tell the widow thank you, sparks heat up and Rose realizes she needs to move on. I loved the touching way the author handled the widow relationship and the signs that she receives from her husband. A sweet story, this one makes you think of long nights and lingering glances. The second novella, Escape to Napa Valley, showcases a heroine who does what many wish they could--simply follow their dreams. She leaves behind a boyfriend who can't even be bothered to pay attention to her and goes to Napa Valley to take wine making classes. There she discovers a passion for wine, and for Napa Valley, along with a certain handsome gentleman. Watching Cherish, the heroine, go through the decision-making process to take the leap into her new life provides tension and makes the reader want to cheer along with Cherish when she finally makes her decision and claims her man. This is a sensual story, with the details flowing like a rich merlot. The final story, Wine Country Affair, details what happens when a bookstore owning romance author meets a handsome man who has come into town to purchase the store. Rife with conflict and tension, this story heats up no matter if the characters are in, or out of, bed. A sizzling ending to a great anthology.I found the offerings in this work to be balanced and loved that the author's individual voices shone through. A great read!
