CHAPTER ONE

Y ou’re still a spoiled brat.  You know that, right?

Serena jammed her fists on her hips.  I don’t care what you say, Roman Steele.  I’m going.

And you wonder why I say you’re spoiled?

I am not.  I’m my own woman.  You’re just mad because I’m not the wimpy, subservient type.

Roman heaved an exasperated sigh.  It has nothing to do with being wimpy or subservient.  You’re a married woman now, Serena.  It’s time you started acting like it.

Hmph.  She folded her arms across her chest and scowled at her husband.  He had a point.  A good one, at that.  Still, there was no way she would give in and be reasonable.  This was too important.  You know that when we got married I put my dreams on hold.  Well, we’ve been married four years and it’s time for me to pursue them.  You didn’t see me denying you your dreams when we got married.  She pinned him with an accusatory glare.

Roman tilted his head to one side as he gazed down at her.  "My dream was
