In the book “Real Hoodoo (The Final Prophesy)”, author Lord Augustus practically presents himself as a character who gives an account of the happenings in his life right from his youthful age up until his adult age. In his early life, the character begins to see some unexplainable things in reality as well as in his dreams and the character never pays attention to them thinking they are just things he imagined. However, Lord Augustus uses Bible verses to explain the character’s imagination and in turn helping the readers to understand the protagonist character. The book is compartmentalized into five chapters. The first chapter gives an account and unveils the series of events that happened to the protagonist before and after he comes to know more about God using Bible verses and numerology to solve the intriguing events.
Chapter two of the book sheds light to what the holy Bible is? Who is God? And Who His people are. In this chapter, Lord Augustus with the aid of Bible verses brings into knowledge how the lineage of God’s people are determined, who are the enemies of God and the ways in which they can be approached. Chapter three of this book makes a juxtaposition between what God says and what the enemies says. It gives an insight into what witchcraft is all about and it also expatiate extensively about what the Bible says on events like Christmas, Halloween, thanksgiving, independence day, Easter, valentine’s day, new year’s day, Sabbath, sin, laws, Passover, abomination and so many much more events that are causing a lot of controversy amongst people in the world today. It also gives a clear description of God’s holy days for his chosen people.
Lord Augustus uses chapter four of this book to present that fact that Hoodoo is real especially for those who don’t believe in Hoodoo. In cementing this fact, he uses Bible verses to prove that Hoodoo do exist. In the latter part of the chapter four, he provides solutions to help one through in times of Hoodoo. Such solutions include the principal things of life. What are these principal things of life and how can they help in solving Hoodoo? Finally chapter five of this book with the sub heading “The final prophesy” sheds more light on what will happen at the end of this world. It gives insight to God’s judgement against the enemies of his chosen, the special treatment to enemy number one and who truly is the end of the world and the beginning that followed it. In all, this book is a well-researched Bible based book that gives insight to the supernatural using a real life story with Bible verses.

The Journey
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their God
G
rowing up in rural Mississippi, something always had me looking at the clouds, trees, ponds, and nature in general. I had no intimate relationship with any of these creations other than something on the inside of me that would often direct me to them only to show me the appearance of a person or group of people’s faces figured in them. It was as if they were letting me know that they were alive. I never thought that much about it because as far as I was concerned it was just a part of my imagination. Even this day there exists a picture in my home with the faces of a man and woman.
Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, said the LORD. (Jeremiah 1:8)
The thing that really got my attention was from the age of twelve to sixteen. I began every other month in the night hours to have a consistent dream in which I was in a car traveling long distances doing some kind of business. In the dream, I ended up losing everything and was down to the point where I was counting pennies and afterward I then became prosperous. Why I was having this dream it never made any sense to me at the time because I did not know how to drive, was not thinking about being in business, and had never seen any highway larger than a double lane.
And he said, hear now my words: If there be a Prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak to him in a dream. (Numbers 12:6)
It never failed that immediately after awaking (before sunrise) and while lying on the bed I would look out the window toward my grandmother’s front yard and there appeared to be an object giving off light. I would initially get up early in the morning just before sunrise because I had to find out what was this shining object. To my bafflement there was nothing in or near my grandmother’s front yard that could or should be giving off light. I decided that the only way I could figure this out was to go outside in the dark while this light that I was seeing was visible. I did but to my puzzlement this light would just disappear although I could see it from any room while inside the house. I never figured out this phenomenon.
I am an Israelite from the tribe of Judah who grew up under the religion of Christianity. I attended the Church of God In Christ (COGIC) in a black community, learning the message from the Holy Bible that we are to serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Speak unto all the Congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy. (Leviticus 19:2)
The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name. (Exodus 15:3)
If ye forsake the Lord, and serve strange gods, then he will turn, and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good. (Joshua 24:20)
The genuine significance of serving this God did not immediately click in my mind at that time. Perhaps because it seemed as though the people attending the church were more focused on singing the gospel spirituals and getting mounted by the Holy Ghost. I never experienced this ghost nor did I ever want it. I personally thought this particular ghost was out of control most of the time.
In addition, many of the people that seemingly were having such extravagant experiences with this ghost when they were mounted were living very hypocritical lives based on my observations. How could something so Holy dwell in something so impure I often thought?
Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily; therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. (Ecclesiastes 8:11)
Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid. (Isaiah 20:13-14)
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof; from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 3:5-7)
The Holy Ghost of the Holy Bible brought unto men wisdom and understanding. It has no resemblance of this ghost I have seen at any church.
But if I have found grace before thee, send the holy Ghost into me, and I shall write all that been done in the world, since the beginning, which were written in thy Law, that men may find the path, and they which will live in the latter days, may live. (2 Esdras 14:22)
Ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost as your fathers did, so do ye. Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? And they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murders: Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it. (Acts 7:51-53)
Nonetheless, this God must have been with me because we were in church pretty much all the time and I still completed all my high school coursework ahead of time and graduated second in my class with honors.
This is what the Holy Bible have to say about Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and their God.
Ecclesiasticus 44
1 Let us now praise famous men, and our fathers that begat us.
2 The Lord hath wrought great glory by them through his great power from the beginning.
3 Such as did bear rule in their kingdoms, men renowned for their power, giving counsel by their understanding, and declaring prophecies:
4 Leaders of the people by their counsels, and by their knowledge of learning meet for the people, wise and eloquent are their instructions:
5 Such as found out musical tunes, and recited verses in writing:
6 Rich men furnished with ability, living peaceably in their habitations:
7 All these were honored in their generations, and were the glory of their times.
8 There be of them that have left a name behind them, that their praises might be reported.
9 And some there be, which have no memorial; who are perished, as though they had never been; and are become as though they had never been born; and their children after them.
10 But these were merciful men, whose righteousness hath not been forgotten.
11 With their seed shall continually remain a good inheritance, and their children are within the covenant.
12 Their seed stands fast, and their children for their sakes.
13 Their seed shall remain forever, and their glory shall not be blotted out.
14 Their bodies are buried in peace; but their name lives for evermore.
15 The people will tell of their wisdom, and the congregation will shew forth their praise.
16 Enoch pleased the Lord, and was translated, being an example of repentance to all generations.
17 Noah was found perfect and righteous; in the time of wrath he was taken in exchange for the world; therefore was he left as a remnant unto the earth, when the flood came.
18 An everlasting covenant was made with him, that all flesh should perish no more by the flood.
19 Abraham was a great father of many people: in glory was there none like unto him;
20 Who kept the law of the most High, and was in covenant with him: he established the covenant in his flesh; and when he was proved, he was found faithful.
21 Therefore he assured him by an oath, that he would bless the nations in his seed, and that he would multiply him as the dust of the earth, and exalt his seed as the stars, and cause them to inherit from sea to sea, and from the river unto the utmost part of the land.
22 With Isaac did he establish likewise for Abraham his father's sake the blessing of all men, and the covenant, and made it rest upon the head of Jacob. He acknowledged him in his blessing, and gave him a heritage, and divided his portions; among the twelve tribes did he part them.
The Perfect Job and the Required Preparation
I was not planning on going to college because we were poor and getting a job to make some money just made more sense. I applied for a job at several sawmills but was denied by all. However, plans changed on the night of graduation right after the ceremony. An instructor from the college I would later attend and husband of my eighth grade science teacher convinced me to come to the campus and take some tests because he was sure I would get some financial support via scholarship(s). In the summer of 1982, I was enrolled in college to get a degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. I chose this major because a friend of my mother had told me that was where the money was.
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. (Colossians 3:23-24)
While in college I did not attend any church in particular but did read Scriptures daily from the Holy Bible. I guess that was good enough. In my junior year, there was a sign posted on the campus about summer internships informing all that were interested to come by the Dean of Mathematics Office for further details. A female classmate and I went together to the dean’s office. The dean gave us the information but her exact words to us were These positions are only for the seniors and you guys need not apply.
We refused to listen to this advice and applied anyway. As fate would have it, we were the only two from our school who received internships from this company that summer. We were also selected by this company multiple times after that for internships.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44)
I did not find a job in my field of study immediately after graduating in 1986 and went to live with my dad for a while. That did not work out because our thought patterns about how the world operated were extremely different. Although, he
