Ethereal Dimension - Ryan Teo
Author’s Notes
Again, this was inspired from another set of dreams I’ve had. I decided to do this as a side project for fun, hence the relatively plain cover. The story might not be much, so I do apologise if it disappoints.

Ethereal Dimension
Date: 28th August 2068 (8 years after The Event)
Time: 2100
Location: Somewhere near the Bermuda Triangle
A lone ship sailed into the one of the most treacherous regions known to man - The Bermuda Triangle. Braving the harsh thunderstorm and rough seas, the crew prepared itself to face the unknown amidst the endless darkness which surrounded them. It was the perfect setting for something ominous to occur.
Are you certain the bait will remain safe sir?
asked a concerned crew member.
Most certainly. Remember, we're all trained for this and so is he.
They were referring to a man who agreed to be tied up and hung from the front of the ship. He was the perfect bait for the demons of the other world, who fed on our energy while they attempted to conquer our dimension.
On the ship was an elite squad commissioned by the chairman of the Inter-
Dimensional Task Force (IDTF) to seek out and destroy the demons' leader. After being on the defensive for so long, the board has decided that it was time to take the fight to them and launch a counter-attack. This was a mission which took 2 years to plan and prepare for. From extensive research, it was determined that the Bermuda Triangle was one of the most frequent places in which the demons would enter our world through the inter-dimensional tear. It was the only tear which did not appear to move nor close, unlike the others which appeared to be controlled at the demons' will.
We're getting close captain. I can feel it.
Yes we are,
agreed the captain as he ordered the crew to gather. In a few moments, the demons will be upon us. It might be a one-way trip for most of us, but remember why we're here, for our families and future generations, so that they may live. This is what we've been training for this whole time. We strike fast and we strike hard. If those demons think they can conquer our world without a fight, well, they thought wrong. For honour and glory, Xiphoid!
Xiphoid!
chorused the crew.
Everyone was all hyped up for battle, save for a lone guy who stood near
