About this ebook
Frank O'Hara turned away from his computer, and looked at his assistant Linda Sommers. "If the read out on this gadget is right, we have at last made it." in his thoughts he added," hopes no one is going to get hurt, or maybe worse." Linda looked up from her work place, and asked. "So Frank we can call it a day, or is there something else before we close the shop?" "No Linda let's go home. As your car is at the garage, should I drive you home?" Yes please Frank. You know where I live don't you?" "Yeah Linda no problem." as the two went home to Linda's house, She had forgotten that she had the bottle with the compound in her lap. As she opened the car-door, the bottle fell to the street and broke when it hit a manhole under the car. Every drop of the compound sipped down into the sewer. The following day when a Mrs. Ross walked her small dog, she saw that the manhole cover had been pushed to the side, and she phoned the Sheriff to report the prank. The service in charge of the manhole came quickly and put the cover back in place. Three days later, on a Tuesday, there was a scream that got Mr Olson next door to Mrs. Ross to come out. It was Mrs. Ross laying down on her lawn crying over her dog. It had been eaten by something. As the Sheriff looked up to a tree, he saw a Roach at least three feet large sitting looking down at them. It was clear, that at least a dozen roaches had lifted the manhole from below, and were now looking for food in the neighborhood. The Sheriff called for assistant, and with Olson and his Remington rifle together with seven shotguns they went through every house, and garden to search for more of these roaches. Inside Mrs. Ross house, they found her dead, and eaten body. It took the seven law enforcers plus Olson close to an hour to get all the roaches before people started to come home from work.

Frank O'Hara was working late again. For the past couple of weeks, he hasn't seen his wife for more than a few hours a day, or night. Now it was another late night at the lab. Looking up from his computer Frank rubbed his eyes with the back of his hands, stretched and yawned. Looking at his assistant, he said. If these numbers are right Linda, we have at last hit the jackpot.
In his mind, he thoughts, Hope this compound doesn’t hurt, or kill anyone.
Linda Sommers, Frank's assistance, looked over towards him, and asked. Did you say something Frank?
"Yeah, I said if this electronic wonder is right, we have made it at last. The formula by the computer readout, should work as we have expected it to do. What we have in our little bottle over there, will increase the growth rate by more than one hundred percent,
