Did You Know About Bible History?

About this ebook
In today's world the Bible comes under constant attack. Some of it is based on ignorance and some on hatred, but what is the truth? This book provides an easy reading yet factual response for those people genuinely seeking to know more about the Bible. It takes a look at authorship, how it was written, and its history after the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ.
The book is written in a style that enables the reader to skip around if they want to do so. There are chapters on early Christian movements which contributed much to our understanding and application of the Bible. While this book is not doctrinal in nature, the roots of Christian doctrine are easily seen. While written with the skeptic in mind, the book is also a great resource for Bible students and new Christians.

From the Author
The Bible is the one book that stands the test of time. People have relied on it for centuries, especially the King James Version Bible. Although efforts have been made to destroy it or replace it, the KJV (as it is affectionately called) has persisted. It is the greatest English translation of all time!
But what do you really know about it?
What do you know about how Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible? What is the history behind the various versions of the Bible? Is the Bible reliable?
These and so many more questions are answered in this timely book. Timely? Yes, because we live in an age when the Bible is being either neglected or rejected. Both are the result, at least in part, of ignorance.
This ebook has been prepared after years of Bible study and research. I have been blessed over the years by serving under godly men, such as Dr. Harry E. Carr, and have received great insight from such men as Dr. Phil Stringer. These men and others like them have made it easy for me to gather the information and relay it to you.
I have written on a variety of issues and, in some cases reached conclusions that you may not agree with at this time. That is OK. My conclusions are mine, I make no claim of divine revelation. But I pray that you may find Did You Know Bible History? a valuable resource and a help as you move forward with your life.
As with all my Did You Know? ebooks it contains Did You Know? articles, some as of yet not published on the internet. But you can check out those I have already posted by going to my GoodReads blog. What you find there will be very similar to the contents of this ebook although the contents herein may have been edited and polished. In this book I have also tried to organize the material in a clear, understandable format.
I have made use of a variety of resources, such as the above mentioned Dr. Carr and Dr. Stringer. In addition to them I have made use of my own library as well as the internet. These resources have included www.icr.org and www.answersingenesis.org which I recommend to any serious student of the Bible and science.
One of the goals of this book is to encourage you to seek out and read books or
