The Harlot is an international entity, The Book of Revelation describes her as such.Many Christians in America believe the Harlot to be the Catholic Church.I believe the Bible contradicts this theology. Ten percent of the entire Book of Revelation has been given over to this subject matter. Gods complaint against the Harlot is her influences in the world both spiritually and morally. Who is she?

The 1st Chapter herein is speaking allegorically, the 2nd Chapter turns to reality plainly and remains this way throughout the rest of the book.

Introduction

This sequence of events is of a great and internationally known star that started out as nothing and became everything. She has beauty, glamour, appeal, wits, and a strong forthright beginning. Coming from Great Britain and established in her own right. Falling in love and building strong ties through that relationship of her once husband. Pleasing him at first, then strongly setting her own path in life leaving him behind.

Betrayal deceit and pride befall her with royal corruption. Once known as royalty through marriage, she now stands alone in her own strength. Going forward in her newly arranged ways, she bathes with kings in self glory. Never looking back again at the one who gave it all to her. Now capitalizing on all she deceitfully secured from her previous love of her youth. Having affairs here and over there and anywhere that pleases her with pleasure, and with no remorse, forgetting him who once established her, because he loved her, but not anymore.

The result of her misconduct and deceitful behavior coupled in perversion is of the worst ways, there is a plan from her husband to disengage, and thrust total annihilation upon her. And yet while he has set her demise in his sights quite openly, her own pride deceives her from deciphering her reality from fantasy. Forgetting the royal power of her husband, she publicly mocks him before his face securing her demise. Falling prey to her own pride and lust for others, she blinds herself in self indulgence with shame and belligerent arrogance. But this isn't the end, it's only the beginning of this story, it's the when and how this Harlot gets her reward for betraying her admiration and love of her youth.

Chapter 1

The Courtship

What is a spiritual Harlot?

Only in the Holy Scriptures do we find a descriptive image of spiritual Harlotry. According to Revelation chapter 17 and 18 the Harlot is a foretold prophecy of an emerging imperialistic empire yet to have emerged. This powerful empirical whore will instill evil morality and spiritual corruption worldwide as described in Revelation.

Just as many believers in Christ are waiting for Jesus to return, they ought to also be looking for the Harlot to emerge as well. The anti-Christ plays a prophetic role in relation to the Harlot too. In fact it's prophesied that God will put it into the anti-Christ's heart to fulfill His will by utterly destroying the Harlot as retribution to her, and as a beginning sign of The Great Tribulation. She will be burned with fire and completely annihilated in one hour’s time by the anti-Christ, through utilizing military might given to him for this accomplishment from other combined national powers.

Revelation 17:12-13, 15-17 NKJV

The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. Then he said to me, The waters which you saw, where the Harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the Harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

Revelation 18:7-10 NKJV

In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her. "The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’

Why is it pertinent to understand the Harlots coming? One reason is so that one will prepare for The Great Tribulation, the other is so one can recognize the delusions given out by her in regards to God and Morality.
