    She sure was pretty. Terry couldn’t deny that. He couldn’t help but peek out from behind the open locker door to get a glimpse of Barbara Taylor. She had a tame prettiness that he certainly appreciated. She was prim and proper, but not stuck-up. She always dressed in pretty, long skirts, blouses, and a sweater to either match or compliment the skirt she wore. She was a blonde girl, her hair often tied up either in a pony-tail or bun.

    She was talking to a few of her friends. There was Betty Krasny. She was very tall with big feet. Her hair was brown and tied on top of her head with pens crisscrossed through the tight bun. She wore movie-star type red-framed glasses with a band about the arms. She also had braces. She was the typical outcast nerd and even had a slight lisp. She was very smart and surprisingly very strong. She wasn’t picked on for long, if ever.

    Barbara’s other friend was Cheryl Beasley, the typical, cute ginger with glowing red hair and adorable little freckles across her cheeks. Barbara had such pretty friends. All of them had such attractive,
