Wow who knew that what started out as a two page note turned into what you see before you today.

I want to thank my wife for being my sounding board and always listening to my crazy ideas. The part in my book when I talk about Barbie’s for boys I am sure most people got it. If not it is what my wife calls action figures. It has been a real treat for me to write this, I hope everyone enjoyed this book as much as I did writing it. I would also like to thank all my friends and family who supported me and believed in me.

    Chapter 1

Trevor sat staring out the window of his grandfathers rusted old car, as he was being driven to the airport. He watched the trees as they became a giant blotch of scenery. Grandfather, how come I have to go away so soon. I feel like I just got here. Trevor said while looking out the window. Now Trevor you know we have been through this before. his grandfather said as he reached over and gave his hair a slight tussle and then putting his hands back on the wheel.

Come on grandfather you haven’t been straight with me for the past couple of months, I am not a kid anymore I am thirteen years old you know? Finally taking his eyes of the window he looked up at his grandfather noticing how young he really looked.

The man did not look his age that is for sure, but one look in his eyes you can see he hid a very dark secret. Trevor now you know I cannot spend all my time with you and raise you right. grandfather said never taking his eyes off the road ahead of him. My research is very important right now and as soon as you are old enough I will tell you everything. Trevor and his grandfather stared at each other for a brief moment when Trevor looked back at the road he saw a mysterious person in black standing in the middle of the road. Grandfather watch out! he yelled and his grandfather swerved to miss the stranger and swerved toward the ditch. Just before the impact. Trevor woke up to a stewardess was talking to him.

Sir I am sorry to disturb you but we are getting ready to land and you need to move your seat and tray back up in there upright position. Observing his surroundings he thought to himself. What the hell was that all about. He remembered the day that his grandfather sent him away but he does not remember any strangers in the road. Still clutched in his hand was the telegram he received from his grandfather’s lawyer.

    Dear Trevor,

Your grandfather has passed away, you must come home.

    Steve.

As he departed the plane and entered the small airport he looked through the group of people. "Trevor, Trevor. A older gentleman was waving and yelling at him as he moved through the airport. Trevor recognized the man as being Steve, his grandfathers lawyer.

How are you doing Trevor? Steve asked as he shook his hand with a firmer grip then most men his age. My how you have grown, I cant remember the last time I saw you. Steve yammered as he picked up the luggage. As they walked through the airport for the second time today he heard his name being called in the terminal. A beautiful young lady waving her arms and jumping up and down.
