About this ebook

"Yeah…I see," she said breathily. "I totally understand how this works now. It's all about control and submission."

Julian

I'm the king of the cage. Nobody can stand up to me. Twelve wins in a row, and now I'm moving up to the Ultimate Fighting League. I'm training in isolation in this podunk town. No distractions, no media. Just me, my fists, and my dreams. Nothing is gonna get in my way.

But then she arrives, out of the blue. Shay - she's got curves in all the right places, but it's like she doesn't even know how gorgeous she is. She wants to interview me for the local newspaper, but I can do one better than that. I'll show her exactly what it means to get into the cage with me - and she'll submit. They all do.

Shay

I don't even know anything about fighting - I'm the last person who's qualified to interview Julian Phillips, up and coming cagefighter. But he's here in our little town training for his next fight, and my boss forces me to go try and get an interview. When he opens the door for the first time, his hard body and intense eyes draw me in like I'm magnetized. But men like him don't go for girls like me...do they?

Tapped Book 1 - An MMA Fight Romance Short - Mona Bliss

The empty gym echoed with the sound of a gloved fist slamming into a heavy punching bag, and the three supporting chains creaked as it caved under the weight of his foot. Julian took a step back, staring intensely at the bag as if it were his worst enemy.  He shifted his weight forward and struck it once again with a split-second front kick. It sounded as if a shotgun had been fired, and echoed with a deafening sound against the concrete walls. He stepped forward to stop the bag from swinging, and then wiped the sweat from his brow with his forearm. He patted the bag lovingly as if it was a good friend, before heading to the locker room. His glistening sweat trickled down his chiseled torso as he grabbed his workout towel and began to dry off.

Julian was a king in the fight cage, and this small gym was now his private castle. After reaching an undefeated 12-0 in amateur fights, he had now risen to the Ultimate Fighting League, pounding his opponents with an inhuman strength and aggression.  He showed them no mercy and the crowd loved him for it. He was rising to the top faster than any other fighter had in many years.

He walked over to the full length mirror and gazed at himself, flexing his pectoral muscles and abs while smiling and admiring his build. Julian was good, and he knew it.

Shit. I'm better than good. I'm fucking perfect, he said, as he flexed his muscles again. He was sometimes criticized for being cocky and arrogant, but the fact was that he really was the best. Nobody could touch him. He often walked out of the ring looking just as handsome as when he walked in; except for the accents of blood spatter that sometimes landed on him as his rival was defeated. He didn't just win the fights though. The crowd loved him because he was a beast. Once he entered the ring, nothing would wipe the sinister smile off his face. He toyed with his opponents like a
