Unfortunately, many persons are victims of a negative and defeated mind-set. Hence, the purpose of this discussion, Defeating the Defeated Mind, is twofold: to highlight, in a nutshell, the state and struggles of the defeated mind, and to suggest ways of overcoming the defeated mind-set. 24 ways, using an acronym from the topic, are given as guide on how to conquer your mind.

    Introduction

The mind is an intriguing fascinating aspect of the human brain. Even though, it is common to all human beings, the mind is unique and intricate in each individual. Understanding the mind, especially, in everyday living is very important. The state of the mind contributes more to well-being than the resources at one’s disposal. Therefore, individuals should seek the necessary professional help to overcome their minds’ struggles.

The content is not a research, however; former concepts learnt influenced the discussion and some online dictionaries were consulted as necessary. Equally, it is not a technical work; therefore, the vocabulary is simple.

    The content covers five areas:

Chapter One, Defining the Defeated Mind, gives a personal definition of the concept defeated mind. Chapter Two, Describing the Defeated Mind, describes characteristics of the defeated mindset. Chapter Three, Debacles of the Defeated Mind, focuses on some of the outcomes of the defeated mind-set. Chapter Four, Detecting the Defeated Mind, provides some ways
