      Sir Richard Phelps, Sir Laurence Albright, and Sir Morris Davenport sat around the fire over which the coffee was heating, blinking themselves awake in the dusk light. If the du Barres are willing to shower our Henry with the oceans of money he’ll need in order to continue the excavation according to his own lights, I’m afraid we’ll simply have to bear with their eccentricities.
