In book four of the Lady Riders: Sky “Bob” Lang discovers the best night of her life has left her in a position she never planned to be in—beholden to a man. It isn’t her style; she’s not built that way. Her childhood made that decision for her.
Ryker “Bear” Devlin has spent more time thinking about one woman than he cares to and it pisses him off. He is not the relationship type of man; he never will be, but one night is all it takes for the tiny woman to break down the wall he has built around his heart and give him a gift along with it. He just needs her to accept what he has to offer and not screw it up.
The Ops Warriors and Lady Riders face a major shakeup, one that will bring them all back together, as long as they make it through.

    About the Author

    Prologue

Sky ‘Bob’ Lang looked across the crowd of Ops Warriors, Vipers, and Furies watching them interact. She had never been one to jump right in and socialize when clubs got together, mostly because she didn’t trust the other clubs as much as she trusted the Warriors.

They had been the only ones to step in and help her when she was at her lowest. No one knew how bad it had been, only Easy and Poke did. They were the ones who found her in the alley bleeding and almost dead, all from a beating she had taken for her mother who owed the wrong person money. Sky thought she was dead, and seriously when she woke up in the Warriors clubhouse, she had been shocked. She had already accepted her death when she had been laying on the cold concrete, only able to see out of one eye, but it was enough to lay there and watch her blood leaking to the concrete and pooling right in front of her line of vision. She had been helpless to do a damn thing.

At five-foot-tall, she was one of the shortest Lady Riders; it pissed her off. Shady was tall and lithe, sexy as hell, Freedom, Harmony, Rain, all of them proportionally gorgeous. Her bike was custom made; the set dipped down so she could touch the ground. Looking at it you wouldn’t see the difference next to another bike; it wasn’t smaller, it just sat a little lower to the ground. She had battled her height all her life. The doctors said she was a drug baby, which was why she was so petite.

Bob learned early to fight because being so small everyone thought they could bully her. Then as she grew older, the boys began to notice her, which pissed off the girls. Her long black hair and pixie-like features made her look like a doll, or so they said. She didn’t see it. However, the night her mother told those assholes she could cover what she owed, they had been more than vocal about how they liked her looks. She had fought, and they had gotten pissed when she kneed one in the nuts, thus the beating.

Easy and Poke took care of her after they found her. Creed and Fork sought vengeance for her, and all of the guys in the club had helped. Sky had been grateful, but she knew when she was healthy enough she was gone. Already planning to move somewhere that no one could find her. Alaska was totally on the table, her mother would never find her there, and that was what she was doing. Getting away from her mother was her goal, it had been since she had turned eighteen and moved out of the small apartment that her mother had found them, which didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Of course, it was over a strip club, and after eight o’clock at night, no sane person would be caught dead in the neighborhood, Bob had wanted out.

She smiled when her gaze fell on her sisters in the club. Rain, Treat, and Nike. She missed the others who were in Nevada, they were the only family she claimed, but she also couldn’t stay in one place for too long. It was strange, because she wanted a place to belong, and she knew the Warriors were it, but she couldn’t settle. That was why she always went on the runs with the guys. Some may think the guys took her so they would have available pussy on the road, but seriously that was not why.

The group had changed her mind about staying in one place the first time they had stood up for her and told her she was worth more than being on the run for the rest of her life. The man her mother owed had a long reach and apparently since Sky’s mother had given her to the man as a down payment for the money owed, he was searching for his investment. They never let him come near her.

Creed knew her past and respected it. He also knew that like a lot of the guys, her scars ran deep. She needed to roam, and so they let her when it was safe with the guys. Also, they used her on their runs as a distraction for anyone and everyone who looked at them too closely. They never put her in harm’s way unless they had a plan for her to get out. She was like their little sister. Hell, sometimes she had a hard time getting laid when on the road, she didn’t fuck guys in the club who were on the run. In fact, only a few guys she did fuck were ones who she knew didn’t want a relationship, she was not going to become her mother. Pregnant and alone at a young age, and no man to help her. The bitch had taken all of her problems and poor decision making out on her as a child.

Shit, she could still smell the mold from the closet she was locked in every day while her mother worked. She would laugh and call the small dungeon her babysitter. It was right over the stage from the club downstairs, and so the constant thumping and music left her awake most of the nights.

Hey, Bob, Treat called and waved at her. She nodded her head and made her way over the table. There was going to be a meeting soon; the women had already planned to get the party going so when the leaders returned, they could relax. Bob already planned to cut out after that and go back to her bungalow, which she now had alone. When they first came here Treat had shared the place with her, but now that she had been claimed, which Bob was supremely happy about, she had the place to herself. For the first time in her life, she actually had a whole house to herself. She loved it.

Hey, ladies, she said gruffly when she got to the table. She hated her voice, seriously it was too low and husky, and although some of the guys she had been with liked it, a few had told her not to talk because it sounded too manly. The sad part was, her vocal cords had been affected when she had been beaten in the alley. The asshole had kicked her in the throat several times, and she had almost died because of the injury.

You know, Z said when she sat down. I know how everyone got their names but you, Bob.

Treat grinned, and Nike hit him on the back of the head. Well…

Bob rolled her eyes. No, it is not why you think.

The guys laughed, ‘cause yeah, they all assumed she bobbed really well since she had been named that. Fucking her, thinking with their dicks.

See, Bob went to get her tat and Kink was out of town, so Maxi took it upon himself to find a tat shop that was opened. Creed and Fork had called her Betty Boop from the first, and that is what was supposed to be tatted on her. But the dude was a complete moron and ended up putting B.O.B on her. Shit, she almost killed the guy, but it stuck, Rain said with a smile.

Bob shook her head, yeah, such was her life, everything fucked up, nothing ever goes right. It sucked.

Hey, Nike, a large man said from behind her. Bob turned and looked over her shoulder. Bear. She knew the man, hell everyone knew the man, he was a legend in the MC world, and he wasn’t even the President of the Furies. He didn’t want to be, he was an Enforcer, and one of the deadliest around.

Bob nodded to him as his eyes landed on her. Shit, every fucking time she saw him it was the same. He’d stare at her, with his cold grey eyes and she would feel her pussy clench a little. He was sexy, gruff, and fucking huge. Like he had to be well over six-five, and his arms were the size of her waist. She wanted to trace his tats with her tongue, damn it.

She half listened as Bear talked to Nike, and when they went dancing she looked out of the corner of her, listening to Bic as she tried to make Te and Z jealous, it worked, especially when Bic said Nike used to hook up with Bear—it was a slight exaggeration, but it worked. Suddenly Nike was being dragged out of the party, and everyone was clapping and laughing.

Bob looked at Bear to see if he was upset, he wasn’t. Instead, he was grinning at Nike, and when he turned and looked at Bob, she saw the intense look in his eyes, and she shivered. He winked at her and then grinned. Shit, Bob was in so much trouble.

    Chapter One

Bob rolled over in her bed and groaned, damn it, she felt like shit again. This had been going on too long; she was gonna have to break down and ask Boo to give her something. Throwing up morning and night sucked. She had been sick for a week now, and it wasn’t getting better.

She heard a soft knock on her door. It had to be Rain; she was checking on her yet again. All of the Lady Riders had been concerned about her sickness, there was a lot of shit going on in the club right now, and her not being up to par, it sucked. She just needed to kick this bug.

Bob? She heard Rain whisper quietly from the door, and she moved a little, raising her hand up slightly.

Here, she grumbled, seriously almost too sick to move. Damn whatever this was sucked.

Oh, honey, Rain said and walked farther into the
