Editor's Introduction
The Remarkable Lover is a book of poems with sonnets, odes and a varied poetic structure. With a relevant pose, where Miguel D' Addario is manifested in its simple writing with literary rhetoric and a deep beauty. Each verse conveys a time, which each person would have lived, felt, or thought. It covers broad specters with comparisons and metaphors, and is distinguished by its stanzas of short extensions. The author, of vast literary experience, reflected in this book the deepness that requires love poetry, leaving a poetic lucidity written in each verse. Accompanying each poem, the dazzling painting and the vast range of colors of the artist Ignacio Guerrero, with a dynamic of birds, landscapes, couples and peculiar beings. Both talents are assembled in a pictorial - poetic atmosphere that leaves its own stamp on styles and contents reflected in this volume of outstanding artists.
Thanks to Gabriela Morales Castro for the translation, Ignacio Guerrero for his paintings, Eréndira Gómez for the prologue to the edition, Carlos Max, Laura Zohn, Raquel Santamaría, Andy Sanyasi, Libraries of Madrid and to my friends, for their direct and indirect collaboration.
