About this ebook
Breaking her pattern of bad mistakes, Carli's fresh start begins with finding the father she's never met. But will the price of her decision
weigh more than the risk?
Ethan Durham hadn't planned on losing his heart to the girl in the staged photo, but if he can't convince her of God's unconditional love, she may never accept his. And if he can't put an end to the attempts on her life, he may lose far more than his heart.

Glad you stopped by. I'm a writer of inspirational suspense romance and love what I do. A road near our home inspired my first novel which I was able to squeeze into print in a year's time in-between homeschooling our children. I'm never bored and enjoy learning new things and meeting new people. Thanks for taking an interest and I hope you come back!

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5First off, I loved the book's cover and the title and the beginning scene and how all three are tied together. It was a great beginning to an enjoyable story. This had mystery and danger, but mostly alot of tender romance, which makes for a good story. As it is so well said in the beginning of this book, "Regina Tittel's books are written to uplift and encourage each individual while also entertaining them with a great story. The author hopes readers of Unexpected Kiss will better understand God as their heavenly father and accept His offer of forgiveness through His Son, Jesus Christ." After reading this, I knew I was going to like this book, because I knew it would have a good message weaved into it. And I was uplifted and encouraged and entertained, so another good job Regina!!Carli is a woman who shops at secondhand stores for name-brand clothing to give her confidence. She has a good job and one good friend. She never knew her father and is trying to find him and find some answers. Because she feels her own father didn't love her enough to stay, she has a hard time believing her heavenly Father could love her unconditionally. Then Ethan Durham very unexpectedly enters into her life. She sees him as "arrogant and cocky", but also "completely likeable". Ethan wants to help Carli figure out who is out to do her harm and why. But can she trust a stranger that he won't fail her or leave her? I really enjoyed getting to know each of these characters and enjoyed watching them fall in love. This is book two in the Ozark Durham Series and so far I have been having a wonderful time reading the first two books in this series. I eagerly await reading book 3, "Coveted Bride". I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys a wonderful romance, with an uplifting message.Format: Kindle EditionFile Size: 236 KBPaperback: 234 pagesPublisher: CreateSpace (November 8, 2011)ISBN-10: 1466449209ISBN-13: 978-1466449206
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Carli Williams has a past she's not proud of but determines to make a fresh start for herself. A start that includes not getting involved with men and finding the father she's never known, which leads her into an adventure she may not be ready for. Ethan Durham is working on his engineering degree and waiting for the Lord to show him the woman he's meant to be with. Little does he know that the woman he picked for the photo reenactment of the WWII kissing photo just might be her. But one things for sure, he won't get the chance to find out if he can't stop the attempts made on her life. This was a great installment to The Ozark Durham Series. It had lots of mystery and surprises along the way as you try to figure out, with Ethan and Carli, the answers to several contemplative questions. I would love to read Carli's brother's story! (hint, hint)! Although this didn't have as much romantic tension as Abandoned Hearts, the chemistry between Ethan and Carli was still great. Ethan, at times, reminded me of his father, which was fun. I was hoping to see Ann and Jacob again but they were only mentioned a few times. Unconditional love and forgiveness was the underlying message which I thought the author did really well. One line that I absolutely loved and highlighted in my Kindle was "...God doesn't bless us to raise our standard of living; He blesses us to raise our standard of giving." That is GREAT truth to remember! If you're looking for a fun story filled with mystery and sweet romance, then I recommend you pick up Unexpected Kiss. Now I am anxiously awaiting "Coveted Bride"!Format: Kindle EditionFile Size: 236 KBASIN: B0063W0UIGPaperback: 234 pagesPublisher: CreateSpace (November 8, 2011)ISBN-10: 1466449209ISBN-13: 978-1466449206
