About this ebook

With exception to the antiquated language of the original document, the analysis of the enslavement of Europe and the world by Rome as sovereign and then as the bourgeoisie in the original Manifesto of the Communist Party, is as relevant today as it was at the time it was written. This reworking of Marx's original text makes light reading of a presumed heavy subject and simplifies modern politics.

    EXTE's Re-finitions - 'Politics'

    1. My politics = What I want.

    2. Your politics = What you want.

    3. Politics = The interaction between what I want and what you want.

    4. Political system = The mechanisms of political interaction.

    5. Political power = The proportion of the political system that can be utilised, or manipulated, at any given time.

    6. Political influence = Relative effectiveness in getting that which is wanted through utilisation, or manipulation, of the political system.

    7. Political reality 1 = Material things that are wanted can only be gained through either being given, or being taken.

    8. Political reality 2 = The only two things that stop the politically powerful from eliminating the politically weak are (1) the free will of the politically powerful, and (2) the political balance.

    9. The political balance = Without the politically weak to be dominated or manipulated, the politically powerful have no productivity, no purpose, and no Love* for their own existence.

*Note: Love = Trust in someone, or something, to provide eternal happiness (eternal sunshine)

Perhaps because of the thoroughness of the original analysis and philosophy, or perhaps because of the advanced stage of societal control already in existence in 1848 when these facts and theories were first published, the historical gap to now seems to hold little significance.  Perhaps the most significance is found in exactly how little has changed. I will however, preface this book with regards to the matter of modern history.

Through the development of computers and digital capital, the will of the minority now permeates every aspect of life for the overwhelming majority. Corresponding developments in communication however, have brought society to the inevitable fulcrum (as described in 1848), where the will of the overwhelming majority can finally be heard by the overwhelming majority, and as such the will of the overwhelming majority has the choice to overthrow and dominate the will of the few. This is undoubtedly, to those who would care to look, Marx’s decisive hour".

The landscape of language has changed however, and many of the words and phrases once seen as key to understanding the moral, social and politic nature of the world around us have become ambiguous at best in modern use. Whether by accident or by collusion, because of this flaw in our communication, political progress for the masses remains only an optimistic notion.

I believe that, with exception to the antiquated language of the original document, the historical analysis of the enslavement of Europe and the world by Rome as sovereign and then as bourgeoisie, and the ensuing philosophical
