Jerriann Wayahowl Law co-authors on many projects with her writing partner JD Couch: as writing Duo, Windhawk and Snowhawk, penning chants voicing concerns on the world's ecological situation, social issues, and many themes we as Native Americans can pray to Creator for a better world resolution. Our mission is to take action; it is our desire to enlighten others and spur them into action, too, before it gets to a point of no return. We also use original songs and videos to further express in an audio/visual way these same concerns and themes; one person at a time can help spread the word to others they know: this world is our life support system; without it, we don't exist in an alive fashion. Living is a great thing, isn't it? Being happy, feeling secure, having peace of mind to rest at night, knowing life will continue pleasantly for future generations; that's our hope for tomorrow. It is something we all have to work at, just like with any relationship you care about, but it's the one relationship many people take for granted, expecting others to handle it, while you have the benefits of enjoying it. If you are eighteen or older, accept responsibility as an adult; it is you and your environment...make it the best you can; if we all do this, life will improve in every way for everyone. This world would then be a truly amazing place for us to call home.

The Theodore family were Squirrels. Brady, Brent, Bridge and Brandy Theodore lived in Tanner Woodland Forest, outside the city limits of Tanner’s Ridge, North Carolina. Although they were small, they were also smart. To survive in the woods,. they grew up fast.
When it came to their family’s safety, Shady and Rema Theodore taught their little ones that the trees were their greatest line of defense as well as their own personal playground. The best way to avoid predators would be to stay in the trees. They trusted their off-spring to run fast for the nearest tree whenever they faced danger.

Shady rushed into his family’s home which was in a tall Elm tree. He waved an envelope as he hurried over to Rema. He curbed his excitement, and gave his wife his most devoted expression. His brown eyes sparkled.
Sweetheart, I just received this announcement. The Woodlands Council Meeting starts today. It lasts for three days. I’ve been chosen as the Representative for all of the Tanner Woodland Forest Squirrels. I must leave immediately. I’m sorry it is on such short notice. I wish they could have informed me sooner. Will you be alright with the children for that long? I’ve never left you alone like this and if I could decline I would, but that’s not an option. We need someone to speak for the Woodland Forest Squirrels.
I understand, Shady. Don’t worry. We’ll be fine, and we’ll keep busy. Our children are well behaved; they’ll help me gather nuts for the winter.
Yes, they are well-behaving young squirrels.
We’ll be so busy; you'll be back before we have barely missed you, Father.
Bridge, the oldest, said.
"Riley, that sly fox, has been creeping around; please watch out for him. He knows the Council’s rules, but he may
