Prepare to face the worst-Disasters are Unpredictable
In the year 1993, the eastern coast of the United States was hit by the ‘Storm of the Century’ killing hundreds and causing billions of dollars in damage. Spawning tornadoes in Florida and dumping record levels of snowfall across the mid-Atlantic States and Appalachian Mountains, the storm resulted in extremely low temperatures throughout the region and produced hurricane-force winds. The snow caused blizzard conditions in the Eastern region of United States bringing life to a sudden halt in many areas.

In the year, 2005, the Gulf coast of the United States was pounded with devastating force by one of the deadliest hurricanes in the history of the United States-Hurricane Katrina. Packed with sustained winds of 145 mph at landfall, the category-3 storm left more than a million people in three states with submerged highways and power outage. Though the storm itself caused a great deal of destruction, the aftermath was catastrophic.
