Kyla Jackson has worked in the private and public sector organizations in my country in varying positions. I have been reading since I was a teenager I now write romance books as reading is something I have always a favourite pastime ,writing will bring added pleasure.

Ruth and Matt s’Story

Matthew Taylor investment banker and computer empire span international he was the magnate of the era this whiz kid who is called a modern day Bill Gates as he toppled the investment market with his winning streak almost eight years ago tragedy stroke when his childhood sweetheart died in childbirth, he started to play as hard as he worked, the only thing that slows him down was his daughter Sari why….

Ruth didn’t mind being the unpaid nanny for Sari, she love children and wanted two of her own someday… but this rake thought she was his next available bed mate, not the usual socialite usually in tow for his attention though heat and passion seems to scream out of their body each time they touch threatening her resolve, Ruth had no intention of being the player, next notch in his bed post but her body seem to have a mind of its own….

Prologue

Ruth rushed onto the main entrance of the Florida hotel hurrying along as she should have been here fifteen minutes ago for the wedding rehearsal as she was a bridesmaid in the wedding of the year, gentle pulling five year old Noah hoping he would go faster. Her luxurious dark tresses falling in waves down her back making people stop to take notice which they did. Matthew Taylor looked down at the dark hair pixie beauty who bumped right into him as she hurried and thought this was the most beautiful radiantly refreshing woman he had ever seen in his life and her unexpected touch and smell was making his blood ignite.

Ruth Ramsay was petite yet chic and so unbelievable beautiful, with an athletic body and Nina Nobrev face, royal blood and a figure that women envy and stop men in their tracks every time either to protect her or try to drag her off to the nearest bedroom but she was also a head strong, independent minded woman who was not afraid of anything except maybe to trust men as she believes that their love was never to be trusted based on her experiences in the past with her father and boyfriend. Her accomplishment against all odds says she is a fighter but her past was preventing her from trusting the future.

Matthew Taylor a male hero who was dynamic, passionate, sexy, gorgeous and a successful, banker and entrepreneur of the decade this whiz kid billionaire, dominated boardrooms and business deals leaving business world across the globe in awe of him but totally out of his depth when it comes to Ruth and his fears left him no choice but to use lethal force to keep her in his arms and his bed. Their marriage took the world by storm and reinforces their passion but not their fears and so total happiness eluded them, despite his daughter, their family and friends belief in their love and marriage.

Their search for love took them across oceans to England, but they were strong willed so it could only end one way, with honest communication in each other arms for all times to forged the greatest love of the decade climaxing where it started in their home in Trophy Point Florida.

Chapter 1

Ruth run through the front door, trying to answer the house phone that had started ringing again, picking it up automatically without checking the caller ID breathlessly saying

Hello!

And heard Jacqui her employer voice as she said,

Ruth! Thank God! I tried calling your cell but no answer

What’s the matter? In her perfect English accent are you alright dear ?

Ruth exclaimed worriedly, after all she was pregnant in her third trimester and insisted on going to work, though Nic her husband thought otherwise;

Oh yes! It’s Matthew,

Who?

You know Matt, Nic’s nephew, his daughters’ nanny just broke her arm in a freak accident so he needs someone to help with Sari for a few days… can you help him? She is very quiet and is no trouble ….

No she wasn’t, and she knew that but her Dad, Matthew Taylor certainly was! Ruth trembled when she remembered how much but she didn’t want suspicions and worry so she said, Sure!

How is Sari is she ok?

Yes! She got only a bump they were at the Park when a little boy on his toy truck got out of control and ran into them from behind, poor Sophie fell down the embankment and broke her arm,

Oh I am so sorry to hear that,

Thank goodness Sari was lucky she only bruised her elbow and...

She asked for you when she realize Sophie was unable to take care of her for a while,

Me! Why me? I haven’t seen her for awhile?

She likes you Ruth everyone does! Anyway could you pick her up at their house? Giving her the address, so she can stay until Sophie is better. Nic says he will make it up to you" chuckling as she hung up the phone without waiting for an answer.

Ruth sat at the marble breakfast bar with her tea as Rosa the housekeeper was kept busy helping with the baby shower they were planning for Jacqui and she smiled at Nic her husband statement.

They made a perfect couple Nic and his sizzling hot wife and son. Nic was Matt uncle and just five years older and the other business magnate of the Taylor family. She was so happy they resolve their marital issues and was looking forward to the baby, who was a girl and Ruth could not wait to hold her remembering this was how she was with Noah their first born.

Then her thoughts went to Matt Taylor, Nic’s his nephew though he was almost thirty years old he was Nic older brother Howard son.

Howard was a entertainment lawyer but he was just finishing high school when he married the young pregnant model. She divorced him thirteen months later and gave him custody of the baby Matthew claiming she was not cut out to be a mother leaving him to become the supermodel of the decade and a very prominent actress to boot.

Though Ruth was happy to help out with Sari she was not looking forward to seeing her father Matthew Taylor again remembering why… as it was as vivid as if it was yesterday...

Eight months earlier

Ruth slammed the car door in her haste to get to the hotel as she was running late for the wedding rehearsal and she had her charge, Nic and Jacqui the couple getting married son Noah in tow a she raced across the foyer to get to the banquet hall, but before they reached the automatic door of the hotel she ploughed into a solid muscles and pulled up to say sorry, it was then she realize that she was staring, yes staring at billionaire Matthew Taylor and he was a amazing specimen in the flesh between Brad Pitt and Ethan Hawke he was gorgeous and strong features with a forceful chin and beautiful lips and nose, the guy ooze charisma, sex appeal and charm, and he reminded her of Nic Jacqui husband though Matt only taller by a few inches…

She had seen his photograph a few days earlier in one of the business magazines Nic his uncle, had in his penthouse apartment she browse through them while she waited for Nic to arrive with Noah after their trip Disney to watch the all stars parade in Orlando. Nic was leaving for a two day business trip to Boston so she went to pick up Noah at his penthouse. These guys were drop dead gorgeous she thought, and then realize that she was staring at him, his hair was between blond and gold and his eyes had flakes of metallic green up close.

"I am so sorry "she said quickly realizing he was staring at her with equal intensity but stopped and looked down at Noah when he pulled at her hand and said Matt!.

Then he said Noah! And Noah smiled obviously recognizing his cousin as he bent and pick him up saying teasingly Hi champ! So tell me who is your beautiful girlfriend?

And Noah chuckled with delight saying she is not my girlfriend she is my nanny Ruthie

He laughed and holding out his hand to her saying "Hello there! I am Matthew Taylor Noah’s cousin you can call me Matt, going in to the rehearsal?

She took it, saying yes!Pleased to meet you Matthew Thank you.

He continued Little man! When did nannies grow so beautiful, lucky you?

Noah chuckle in delight as he took his hand...

Then he said Come along! I will show you in" engulfing her small hand in his, that sent shock waves through her body like needles on pulse.

As he seemed unaffected so she walked in the hotel main conference room with him beside her to hear him say to his step mother, Gail Taylor;

"Mom ! This is Noah’s nanny Ruth and this is Gail, as the stunning brunette came over to welcome Noah hugging him quickly before he spotted Sari his cousin and pull away to run off with her.

Gail said Pleased to meet you Ruth, as she hugged her saying, Jacqui is over there waiting for you

Ruth said Thank you Gail!

Walking over to speak with Jacqui, she felt Matt intense stare on her back. Jacqui and her best friend Alana were sitting down discussing the song she and Nic choose for wedding dance with the wedding planner the dashing Ravi and Shannon, Nic niece and the new lawyer of the family.

Shannon stood up and said here it goes everyone this is the wedding party let’s do this" Nic and Jacqui of course making everyone smile then Alana and Howard the best man and matron of honour, Ruth and Matt bridesmaid and groomsman and my husband and I along with another business associate of Nic and her girlfriend.

People let us get this show on the road everyone places please they chuckled as the men took their places and Matt came over to stand close to her unnerving her with his close presence.

Ruth Ramsay was a pixie beautiful English girl, Nina Dobrev stunning in looks, with rich dark brunette with hair that almost reached to her waist as she used all kinds of exotic scented oils for her hair, body and skin making her naturally beautiful with rich sugar plum sprinkles on her pert little nose, she seem exotic, and curvy figure though chic and petite was just over five feet two inch with rich creamy complexion most women envy her for. Her golden eyes were warm and friendly this caused man to always want to protect her and Matt seems to fall into place and was enchanted with her radiant beauty.

She came to America with Jacqui who completed her LLM in law in England and had decided to come home to lecture on the subject at university of Florida, she was Noah nanny has been since his birth and she was only nineteen years old.

She decided and came home with them causing both women to bond and become lasting friends. They hit the thread mill and got the full in house spa treatment each week so their lithe bodies pack a powerful punch and with their natural stunning drop dead good looks that stopped men in their tracks whenever they went out together though they were not in the least interested or aware of the attention.

Eight months earlier

The rehearsal went well with everyone move into place though Ruth felt nervous throughout the rehearsal with Matt so close especially when they had to march up together and he held on to her hands and she watched him secretly the whole time, she was glad when it was over, but he came back a few minutes later placing his hands on her shoulder , removing it as she quickly move away in fright.

I am sorry Ruth! I didn’t mean to startle you but Sari wanted to come over to play with Noah tomorrow and Nic and Jacqui approve if you don’t mind ?

He continued we know it’s a busy time for you guys with the wedding coming up.

She smiled and said No! Its okay Matt Noah will have company and he needs that now that he is adjusting to his new family.

Noah’s parents had reunited a few months ago after a five year separation and were getting married in a few days. Ruth saw the children across the room and knew that though Matt was a magnate running the billion dollar investment bank and a computer firm he seem to find time for his daughter who had the same golden hair and green eyes, and when not working or playing… it would seem he spent time with her.

He beckoned her with his hand, and Sari run to him saying Daddy

He easily picked her up the miniature eight year old female replica of himself.

Ruth, says you can come over tomorrow, so I will take you over early before I head out to my meeting".

Sari looked at her a smiled Thank you! See you tomorrow to Noah" as they walked away.

Ruth stood and watch them thinking this was a real father as she was sure he had persons designated to take his daughter around but the fact that he did so himself made him seem so human, she shook her head to get him out of it .He really didn’t seem like the player the media called him… but
