Chapter 1 Intro…

Naomi, a black woman that was very flamboyant, shy, but outgoing as well. She grew up in in a small town in Boston, Massachussettes. She was raised by her mother who would co-parent molding her into this wise young woman leaving her to wonder about her estranged father. Naomi grew up without a father. when she experience her very first heart break and she feels the wrath. Once she graduates from high school she devoted 6 years of law school. She meets Keith during her senior year as they tyed the knot and her prince charming turned out to be a frog. He was Naomi’s husband of two years, but together a total of 8 years. They both had their own passions she loved law and he loved gangsta rap. So, soon as Naomi passed her bars exam and formed a successful law firm. She even help Keith get his very own recording studio and he been wild and turned up every since. When she turns 30 something wonderful and quite devistating will take place changing her life forever. Despite the faith she was taught as a little girl, it was nothing she could ever prepare herself for. Meanwhile, it will be bittersweet all in the same breath. The outcome will be beyong her wildest dreams. You will endure heartwrenching pain, devistation, joy, and be prepared to laugh and cry.

Where Did Love Go Wrong

Before the ink on our marriage certificate could dry, we were already having some major issues. Naomi’s fiance Keith had acted on the ultimate betrayal. He had slept with Naomi’s best friend Leanne while she was out of town working on a high end case. Leanne had a big ass, big titts which all men loved about her and she was easy on a good day, but had a fucked up grill and could use a dental intervention. She would bring different men home around her daughter and I thought that was in appropiate, but she saw no problem with it. I just never thought my girl would do me this way and break the major girl code. Naomi had shared too much of her tea with Leanne and she used it against her. Leanne was my girl we use to have sleep overs and hang out at the mall and I would hang out at the swimming pool with her daughter and that is when I really enjoyed our time, but it is obvious she was using me to get to my man. We had been sharing the same man, but only Naomi was in the dark about it. The way Naomi found out, she returns from a business trip and calls her girlfriend Leanne up to do some tea sipping. After trying to reach Leanne for hours I begin to worry, so I decided to take a ride over to her place. When Naomi arrives what does she spot? Keith’s candy apple red el dorado on 20 inch rims she paid for parked directly in front of Leanne’s house. He was looking the part but it was because of Naomi. Two people I truly cared about had been fooling around behind her back. Keith had been coming home with this familiar scent of another woman, but I could not put two and two together. It all became clear to me that familiar scent of another woman I had been smelling on my husband Keith was my very own best friend. I sat with my hands pressed against the steering wheel and my blood begin boiling and Naomi contiplated throwing a rock through Leanne’s window or popping a cap in their ass. But she had class and good a reputation to uphold and did not want to have to bail herself out of jail. Also, she took into consideration that Leanne’s daughter may be inside. But guess what I married his ass anyway putting my feelings on the back burner and let my heart speak volume and got torn down in the process. I kept this information from my momma because she appeared to be so really excited about my special day which was not so special after all. We did not even have intimate relations on our wedding night. My husband continued to flunt around like he was still single. He would leave Naomi alone more than three times a week living the night life. I can read him like a magazine on Wednesday morning he will call me at work and tell me straight out he was traveling to Dallas. This became is weekly routine and I would not hear from Keith for several days. Whenever I would attempt to reach him my calls always go to voicemail or he will call me and ask me what I want. This marriage is all pretend in my head and I feel like I married myself and he just passing through. I would lounge on my favorite loveseat every single night spilling endless tears feeling confused and hurt as I stuff myself full of rockyroad icecream as I watch Cheaters. That is not the show to tune into when your relationship is on the rocks, it can poisin your mind into acting on the worse. We wake up in the same bed, but lately we been pretty a much avoiding one another. Our relationship has became more like a roomate situation vs a marriage. I would be the third wheel hanging out with other couples or girlfriends for happy hour and even went on a blind date All this time, she was being faithful to her husband, but now feeling a little vulnerable and wants to even the score because she is so damn hurt and angry…
