INTODUCTION
This is a story about a land of Magical Adventures which comes to those who have lost most of their imagination, but it returns when you least expect it. When it does, your life will never be the same again.
My story is about an island that takes individuals through different kinds of adventures, and appears where no solution seems possible. No one ever experiences the same kind of adventure, whether you are big or small, young or old. It is not an Island that can be located on a map; an island that is not visible to the naked eye. Only the few who have had the pleasure, knows of its existence.
I am going to share my experience on the Island, and share the impact it had on my sister's recovery. The Land of Magical Adventures changed our lives forever.
My name is Annabel and I am nine years old, my younger sister is called Christina, she is four. We both live with a foster family, following the loss of our parents on a cold winters night in February four months ago.
Since we have been in foster care, my sister does not talk, and has not done so since the death of our parents. I remember the doctor telling our foster parents that Christina had a condition as to why she does not speak.
My sister has looked up to me, and always by side ever since. I have had to grow up quick since the unfortunate events that have taken place as I feel it is my responsibility to look out for my sister, in every way possible. But sometimes I do find it very hard.
Our foster parents are called Kevin and Claire, they are a very nice and hard working couple, and they do their best to make my sister and I feel part of their family, and make us feel very welcome. We have been in foster care for four months now, and to our surprise we will be going on our first family holiday, as we have not been fortunate in the past to have had one.
And now our journey is about to begin, and I would like to take you through our journey so that you could experience with us, what we indeed did.
Both my sister and I will always treasure this trip, and hold it close in our hearts forever.

Chapter 1
It was the middle of the night, and I was fast asleep, I had been woken by my sister Cristina, who crept into my bed. She was breathing heavily and she was sweating too, it must have been another nightmare, as she suffers from many of them. I wrapped my arm around her as she was trembling and I held her close to me, until she felt safe and fell back to sleep.
When morning had come, I crept out of my bed to go down stairs for my breakfast. I didn’t want to wake my sister as she had a bad night, she looked so peaceful and so I left her where she lay, placing the blanket over her shoulder placed a gentle kiss on her cheek and left the room. As I sat at the breakfast table, pouring the milk over my cereal, my foster parents said that they wanted to talk to my sister and I, but they will wait until she wakes up and comes down stairs before saying anything. Frowning and feeling a little concerned over their words I then continued to eat my breakfast. Claire asked me how my sister had slept, due to her not sleeping too well.
I said
Cristina woke again in the middle of the night; she was really hot, and sweating too
Just as Claire was about to say something, Cristina walked through into the kitchen. Everyone in the kitchen fell silent
