About this ebook
The elite Martinis & Bikinis Club challenges you to risk it all. But once you pick a dare, there's no backing out.
Brooke Winfield is the devoted and dependable daughter of one of Boston's oldest families. So what is she doing on the back of a motorcycle in the middle of the night with sexy bad–boy ballplayer David Carrera?
Elated by that recklessness, Brooke decides she's ready to take a Martini dare and what a dare! Her performance at a posh strip club lands her back in David's arms for another unforgettable night...and in the tabloids the next morning. The most electrifying moment of her life threatens to destroy her happiness, her family name and everything Brooke has ever known about herself.
But maybe some reputations aren't worth saving....
Carrie Alexander
There was never any doubt that Carrie Alexander would have a creative career. As a two-year-old, she imagined dinosaurs on the lawn. By six it was witches in the bedroom closet. Soon she was designing elaborate paper-doll wardrobes and writing stories about Teddy the Bear. Eventually she graduated to short horror stories and oil paints. She was working as an artist and a part-time librarian when she "discovered" her first romance novel and thought, "Hey, I can write one of these!" So she did. Carrie is now the author of several books for various Harlequin lines, with many more crowding her imagination, demanding to be written. She has been a RITA and Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice finalist, but finds her greatest reward in becoming friends with her readers, even if it's only for the length of a book. Carrie lives in the upper peninsula of Michigan, where the long winters still don't give her enough time to significantly reduce her to-be-read mountains of books. When she's not reading or writing (which is rare), Carrie is painting and decorating her own or her friends' houses, watching football, and shoveling snow. She loves to hear from readers, who can contact her by mail in care of Harlequin Books, and by email at carriealexander1@aol.com

Reviews for My Front Page Scandal
8 ratings2 reviews
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Pedestrian read really. When David Carrera crashes outside the window she's dressing, after she's tried on the dress out of a whim to be different, she helps him to hospital, after that the grounds for a change in her life is laid. I could see a better book lurking under this one, the stripping was forced, the front page scandal felt a bit forced too and it could have been a better story without both. The characters just didn't resonate well enough and it almost felt like they were being forced into situations where they didn't suit.Readable, but vaguely unsatisfying.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Again, series book, so full of secondary characters and subplots, but a fun romance between a disgraced baseball star and a wealthy girl with stodgy grandparents, and a unexpected talent for stripping.
