There was barely room to swing a cat at the Talia Byre Autumn/Winter 2023 show. For its first on the official London Fashion Week schedule, its founder, Talia LipkinConnor, took over the southeast London bar and design store Lant Street Wine, and to say the wood-panelled space was oversubscribed would be an understatement. Piling in from the cobbled street outside came swathes of LipkinConnor's friends and family, fans and fashion-industry supporters — all jostling for seats, cramming into every nook and cranny they could find.
