About this ebook

Punished for a year due to a slight infraction, the Archangel Gabriel is living with a human family, in a human body, working as a servant until he can return to Heaven. He thought he’d be tending sheep and harvesting grapes, but now it’s the middle of the night, and he’s got a suffocating five-year-old girl in his lap. He’s never even felt a fever before, but somehow, he needs to save this child’s life.

And then they expect him to deliver a baby. He’s never done it before, but how different can that be from delivering lambs?

These stories fit into the timeline of Seven Archangels: An Arrow In Flight. They can also be purchased as part of the Seven Angels Short Story Bundle, along with Even A Stone, Winter Branches, Damage, and eight bonus shorts.

    Mice In The Pantry

In the Seven Archangels novel An Arrow In Flight, Gabriel spends the year 593BC on Earth without the Vision of God (and apart from his bonded Seraph, Raphael,) after committing a slight infraction. The novel covers a lot of ground, but I had to do a lot of cutting. This story (and Hired Man, which you’ll read later) just didn’t fit into the narrative.

For the second half of the year, Gabriel works as a servant
