Jael, I'm home, Sarik yelled from the doorway.  He looked around the living room for his wife then walked back to the bedroom.

At the foot of the bed, Jael placed the last of her clothes in her bag and closed it.  She looked up to see Sarik leaning against the doorframe smiling at her. 

You're home.  Fantastic.  I couldn't reach the climbing gear. I'm so excited to get back to the mountains.  I love living in Atlantis, but I long for earth under my feet.  She walked over to where he stood and looped her arms around his neck.  She leaned forward and kissed his cheek.  How did your meeting go?

The meeting went well.  Now that Io is back in the public’s good graces, Orion is trying to ensure his place on the throne is secure.  I think the document he has drawn up designating the royal line of succession will pass through the senate this time.  Sarik placed his arms around Jael's waist, then pressed his lips lightly against hers before releasing his embrace.

That's fantastic. Having an heir designate in writing will only strengthen the planetary economy.  I don't know why he waited so long to do this.  She grabbed her toiletry bag from the bed and walked into the bathroom.
