      I looked up, startled, to see a tray balancing on an arm seemingly defying gravity, loaded with a salad and the largest hot chocolate, overflowing with whipped cream and marshmallows, I had ever seen. It looked just as my wife liked it, although the woman standing in front of me was definitely not my wife.
