About this ebook
Jessica's Obsession
Have you ever had a crush? Were you preoccupied by their existence? Did you live, breathe, and become completely compulsive about their whereabouts?
If you answered yes to most of those questions, then you and Jessica have a lot in common.
*The sly smile on her lips turned into a wide grin when she stepped into the shower. She sang as the warm water cascaded down the drain. Then she began to think about her someday children: Tia Stone, Tobias Stone, Tony Stone Jr., Trevor Stone, and Twyla Jessica Stone.*

PROLOGUE
FLAGENTIO, Present Day
J.J. Quinlan came into the shop. He’d been to this particular spot with a friend a few days prior. Holy shit, what happened to your shop, man?
he asked the guy with his back turned.
Tony heard someone come in, but his mind was focused on the damage before him.
The expression on his face when he turned around made the guy hold both hands up. Hey, brother, it’s cool. I wasn’t the one. I was here a few days ago with Trent, and I thought you guys were great with your tat skills. Man, I just came by to get a tat.
Tony was all of five-eleven in his Timberland work boots. He had taken his shirt off to start cleanup. The white sleeveless undershirt showed off his chiseled arms.
He regarded the man that stood in front of him for a few seconds. Ultimately, he surmised the guy to be a bodybuilder or wrestler.
Quinlan cracked a small smile at the once-over by Tony. He was used to guys sizing him up. He remembered a job he had as a doorman; he would get that same once-over by guys who came to the hotel. He even had to put some of those guys in their place. He figured Tony had gone through a rough time from the look of the place; so he wouldn’t ask him why the look-over. Instead, with a friendly smile he said, I really did come by for a tat. I can see now you guys aren’t open for business. The door was open so I came right in, sorry about that. I can come back when the time is right. I’m in New York for a few days. My buddy, Trent, has gotten all his tats here, so I thought I would give it a go. He said I should get the owner, Tony. I’m guessing you are Tony; he described you to tee, man. Got any idea when you will reopen?
Tony shook his head and tried to mentally shake himself. Act professional, man; potential clients like this guy are valuable. Plus with this mess, I’ll need the money, he told himself.
Sorry, man. It’s been a helluva morning. The place was burglarized and trashed. I let my employees go for the day. I just needed to get a few things straight on my own before they help clean up,
he explained as he held his hand out.
Mr. Muscles shook the offered hand. Hey, no problem, I’m Quinlan, by the way. You need any help?
No, no it’s cool. I’m good. And yeah, I’m Tony. Listen, I tell you what. If you can come back in about four hours, I can take you then, or you can come back tomorrow. It’s up to you. At least in four hours I can have an area cleared.
Quinlan took only a second to think. Okay, you got a deal. I can come back in a few, and in the meantime I can go grab some lunch. Today is my splurge day. I want a couple chicken salad sandwiches, four apple pie slices, a couple liters of juice, oh, yeah, maybe even get me a rotisserie chicken. I think that should hold me until dinner, unless I have time to go to that spot a few blocks over, they have the best desserts in the world! I love their pumpkin muffins. I’ll probably down four of those before I come back here.
Not too shocked, Tony asked, Uh, you’re a wrestler, aren’t you?
Not any more, man; I used to wrestle!
Quinn laughed and continued, I’m a body builder and model now. I get to splurge before training and competitions. But before competitions, I go all out and eat a few thousand calories, and then train. I have to maintain a certain amount of calories anyway, but the real cheat days like today, I get to eat! I love to eat!
Tony had to smile at the guy with the cheesy smile. Your tats, the first one, you got it because of your gigs or because of a dare? Most guys with that many always have a story. What’s yours?
Tony showed interest because it helped his mood a little. Plus he found it eased tension when clients first came in to get to know him.
Quinlan relaxed. I took a secret trip to Rhode Island and decided to get my first tattoo, Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish logo. Most of the guys I was training with back then were getting them. Where I lived in Massachusetts at the time, it was illegal to get tattoos. We thought it would give us bragging rights. When I got home, I just yelled, LOOK WHAT I GOT!
The guy barely kept a straight face as he continued the story. When he was done, he burst into laughter. What’s funny is I covered it up years ago.
Tony chuckled. Cool, man, get outta here and get your food. Come back when you are done. No matter the time, come and I’ll take care you.
Happy that he’d get his tattoo that day, he shook Tony’s hand and laughed right out of the shop.
Tony watched him go. Funny dude.
As the door shut, his attitude turned instantly sour.
He cursed and shouted, Who the hell would do this? Why me? I’m a good guy. Who hates me that bad they can’t come to me and work it out man to man? Damn!
As he surveyed the mess that looked as if a mini-tornado had gone through his office, his eyes zeroed in on a shiny
