About this ebook
“How can I fight for you when I don’t know what I’m fighting for?”
When Grace Tate became one of the fallen to protect a vampire, it got her into more trouble than she’d bargained for. She’s angry at Charlotte for hiding the truth, and with Josh living in the city and Seth missing, life is harder than ever.
It’s about to get a lot harder...
Grace doesn’t want to leave Hopetown Valley, but when Josh ignores her calls she decides to go and search for him. She doesn’t expect to run into Seth as well.
When she reaches the city, Grace learns that Charlotte is the most hunted vampire in Wide Island. The city vamps want her blood, and the angels are after her soul. Grace gets caught in the crossfire of a battle she never wanted, but to win one war, she has to fight another.
Torn between the one she gave up everything for, and the one who sacrificed everything for her, Grace has to face Charlotte, and the past, if she wants to fight for her future. But how can she fight for someone who doesn’t want to fight for her?

Reviews for Fight For Me (The Tate Chronicles #2)
6 ratings2 reviews
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This is like the perfect mix of my favorite things: angels & vampires. This book is a twist on the standard angels we are used to seeing.
Grace is a pure soul. She's good all the way through, and she usually makes the right decision. After many years of being a Protection Angel she's tired of all the rules. Grace has a great group of friends around her. Josh is dealing with his only struggles. He has to deal with a tragedy that's happened in his past. There are plenty of moments I want to strangle this guy! But only because he makes boneheaded guy decisions. Seth is another character that proves to be a nuisance a lot of the time. He's broody, and dark, and hot. So naturally, I'm all about Seth. He meets all my angel requirements. :P Each of these characters strengths and weaknesses add to the story.
Fall For Me is fast paced, and there's always a bit of action. I mean you can't have a novel about a Vampire Hunter, and there not be action. ;) We also get quite a bit of love, deception, and friendship. Drama seems to follow this group everywhere. You don't really know who's trying to do the right thing. I always love a little bit of mystery. You also find yourself standing with those that you didn't think you'd want anywhere near you.
Overall, this is a good book. If you like angels and vampires, and are looking for something different, then definitely check this out. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Fall for Me is a young adult paranormal fantasy about a girl named Grace Tate and her twin brother Archer. They are not your normal family but pair of vampire hunters whose sole purpose is to rid the world of evil. Living without a mother and father under the supervision of an occasional visit from a social worker; Archer is a hunter, trained at the skills of killing the supernatural and Grace is his protection angel, an angel assigned to a family for this purpose. The story is told from Grace’s point of view and from the beginning of the plot you can tell that she is an avid rule follower by nature and has always done her job perfectly... until she begins to fall for a human.I received this book as an e-book for a blog tour a few months ago and have to say that it was a surprisingly quick read. It had interesting characters and all of the paranormal creatures that readers love: angels, fallen angels, vampires, and then completely unaware humans like normal.Grace is a strong female presence and she knows it and her brother is strong willed and stubborn but overall entertaining and cute. The story is told from Grace and Josh's point of views and normally thy alternate back and forth. Who is Josh you may be asking? Well, he is the human interest of Grace; only she is not supposed to fall in love with humans. The plot has multiple levels, which I really liked, so it wasn't just the swooning teenage love melodrama, but an interesting fighting/protection story as well. Grace and Archer have been killing vampires for a long time, and now they encounter a new type of vampire, one that can walk in the light and who does not kill people. It becomes their duty to protect her from the other vampires who are looking to steal her blood and make themselves all-powerful.This was a good combination of an Angel story with a Vampire story. It was a good mix of both and not too heavy on either paranormal entity. The Angels were both majestic and brooding and the Vampires evil but also very standard when it comes to the vampire lore. The author uses a lot of the same vampire stories in the creation of her vampires and the idea of a light-walker as well. I found it fun to read but a little predicable at times. Grace and her protection angel duties were very interesting to me and I would have liked to learn more about previous protection angel experiences, why now that she wants a human? So I did have some plot questions.Fall for Me was overall, a fast and normal Young Adult piece of writing with swooning girls, paranormal plotlines, and writing that was easy to read. It would be great for the beach if you need something to sit in the sun with. It is light and interesting.
