Chapter 1

The Storm

A

Young black girl named Kelly was raised in the south and in a single parent home, with family. Since Kelly’s father wasn’t around, she really didn’t know how her life might turn out. From birth to the age of 14, her life was perfect. Kelly always had a vision of becoming a successful business woman. At the young and tender age of 14; Kelly’s life starts to turn completely around. Kelly went to church every Sunday with her grandmother and learned how to pray. She didn’t have much money to go places with friends but started off working at the age of 14. She wasn’t a bad child, but was into one young boy named Randy. One evening, Kelly lied to her mom and told her she was with a group of friends. Kelly really went to Randy’s house. While Kelly was at Randy’s house he told her he was about to go to play basketball in the street with a group of friends. Kelly said ok I’ll be here in the house waiting. Several hours passed by and all of Randy friends returned to his home. Kelly asked Randy what are they doing here.

Randy replied oh baby we have a bet going on.

What’s the bet?

If I kiss you, then they will believe me that we are having sex.

Why do you have to prove to them what we do? Randy grabbed her and started to kiss her. Kelly opened her eyes and saw Randy’s friends were in a circle.

What you all are doing around me? The young boys replied with silence and then started to count to 10. Kelly tried to walk toward the door. The young boys grabbed her and started taking off her clothes. Kelly cried what are you all doing to me?

One of the young boys yelled you will like this sex when we’re done with you.

Kelly cried and yelled please someone help me. Lord please where are you?

She heard the 5 young boys saying it’s my turn. By the time each young boy had a turn with Kelly everyone ran out the door including Randy.

Kelly was too afraid to tell her mom, so she ran and hid in the woods feeling lost and empty inside. Everyone was calling Kelly’s phone that night looking for her. She finally went home asked her mom why didn’t you come and find me?  Why be mad at me? Those young boys just raped me.
