About this ebook
To Hannigan everything went into slow motion and his vison narrowed so that all he saw was Jack dropping his shoulders and a flicker of light reflecting off the twin 45 cal. derringers drop into Jacks hands from his coat sleeves.
You know you can see a low-volicity .45 slug coming at you in the right conditions and this must of been one because in my minds-eye I saw the .45 tracking me like a hawk coming for it's prey. I covered my movement with my slicker drawing my Colt lightening as I twisted just enough that the 45 cut across my chest like a wild boar roaring through underbrush.
It caught me off guard just enough that I hit the deck rolling to a crouch I fired again as another .45 slug honed in on me.
Jack had dropped both derringers into his hands either by mistake or a planned action based on the fire that was pushing him to kill the man in front of him.
Not use to using both derringers at the sametime, He was slow getting the second shot off but before he did he felt Hannigans bullet slice through him like a hot knife slicing through butter.
His knee's wobbled as he tried to stand his ground..as he fired again.

Chapter 1
Prologue
While looking in the Saloon mirror behind the bar Hannigan saw the gunslinger stand up and remove the leather thong that held his Colt's hammer in place.
He knew that trouble was coming and he braced himself, the
Question was who and how many?
Hannigan heard the gunslinger yell out Hey Sodbuster
The gunslingers hand dropped with the speed of a rattlers strike and Hannigan braced himself.
What happened next would be engraved in history and the night
Forever etched in the minds of the onlookers.
For Hannigan everything had slowed down, he watched the
Gunslingers hand grip his colt and start to pull it up and out of his
Holster. Gasping his slicker Hannigan spun using the slicker as deceptive cover, side stepping as he spun around.
Hannigan's own colt cleared leather before he spun completely around.
Two Shots fired almost at the same instant, as the smoke lifted, two men were still standing.
Everyone in the saloon looked back and forth between the
Shooters, not a sound escaped from anyone, you could have
heard a mouse fart.
What was bothering Hannigan was the second gunslinger was starting to Stand up but his hands were empty, this didn't set well with?
Hannigans way of thinking, it was stupid or was it?

Chapter 1
HELLFIRE
John Morgan had saw Hannigan walk in the Saloon, he noticed how he was carrying himself, the walk of a man that was sure of himself.
He could’ve swore he had seen him before, was it Dodge or Waco? But he didn’t have time to think about that so he nudged Jack and stood up...
Jack was still trying to register who the man called Jim Trainer was, He remembered him from another time and place and as John rose up it came to him...
Shit it was Bishop Hannigan! He had saw him kill 5 men in a fight in Dodge City.
Jack knew it was too late when he saw John's hand release the hammer thong on his Colt and heard him call out Hey Sodbuster
What happened next, happened in a blink of an eye...
Jack thought he saw John’s hand Reach for his Colt but what he actual saw was Hannigan spinning whipping his slicker around him and then Blood and gore smacked him in the face.
Terror filled him as he tried to clear the blood, hair and brain matter from his face, he was thinking what the hell just happened. It was so fast!
He looked back up and John finally fell face down....Looking past John’s dead body, he was looking down the barrel of Hannigans Colt 45.
Slowly he put his hands out, with palms facing Hannigan to show him he wasn't a threat.
The Piano player started up a Dixie song from somewhere and everyone could feel the tension fade as what happened sunk in... Most of the patrons went back to playing cards or talking like nothing had happened, like this was the most natural thing in the world and it probably was.
Still in disbelief Jack managed to remove a handkerchief from his pocket, preceding to wipe his face as he looked on in a daze.
To know one in particular Tom said, Well it looks like we'll have to rethink our position now
...
The Sheriff looked over at him, and said this isn't what I signed on for
Standing up he headed for the door...
Goddammit Sheriff sit your ass down
Tom said
Hannigan stood there looking at the others waiting to see if anyone else had the balls to stand up.
Wiping off his face also, Steve Haskett kicked his chair back as he stood...You Goddamit no good coyote I'm going to kill you
It's your call
Hannigan said while he slid his Colt back into his holster and waited...
Goddamit Steve sit down Tom yelled at him
Locking eyes with Steve, Hannigan stared him down , until Steve started to waver in his conviction but cornering a rat could always back fire, so Hannigan waited, not taking his eye's from him.
Not wanting to push Steve into doing something that he would regret, he backed up a step to give Steve room to make the right choice, plus Hannigan wasn't sure how Sadie would feel about him killing one of her brothers whether it was his fault or not...
Steve please sit down
the slow Haskett brother Buck
said...
Bucky stay outta this
Steve muttered...
Steve please
You know Mama wouldn't like this...
Steve sit down now isn't the time
Tom yelled at him
I'm going to kill this snake
Steve yelled back!
Hannigan fought the desire to just kill him but he held back
