About this ebook

This is the first in a series of twenty supplements to Stalin II that will receive a separate, secret circulation.
If Stalin II contains the concept, or the theory of social power, the series of special supplements to Stalin II contains the act, or the practice of power. Each of the first nineteen supplements packages one of the practices of power. The twentieth contains your crown.

The Powerful Man Realizes in all Things the Hero's Narrative - Cincinnatus Hibbard

    9781483532691

    Section 1

WE ARE OBSESSED WITH A NARRATIVE.

    THE NARRATIVE OF RISE,

    AND FALL.

    [ pause for 5 beats ]

The narrative has a second, technical name, that of The Standard or The Standardized,

    Character Arc.

This is its simple technical definition :

A rise from a relatively low point

To a relatively high point, a peak,

And a fall to a relatively low point, and the end, death.

Graphically, with height plotted against time, the standardized narrative of

A character describes the figure of a hill, a mountain

Graphically, with height plotted against time, the rise and fall of the standardized

Character’s narrative describes the figure that variously evokes

‘The Hill,’ ‘The Pyramid,’ ‘The Mountain,’ or, ‘The Arc.’

As if, in their lifetime, a character climbs to the top of The Hill, The Pyramid,

    The Mountain or projectile Arc,

Then falls down to the bottom of it.

We are obsessed with the standard character arc.

    ...

    And yet,

There is a second standardized narrative.

    The narrative of the hero.

    ...

And the narrative of the hero

    Is the narrative of rise,

    And rise !

Or, to give a technical definition of its structure,

The standardized narrative of the heroic character

Has its beginnings at a relatively low point and rises,

And it sustains its rise through interpolated points to a climax

To give a technical definition of its structure –

The standardized narrative of the heroic character

Has its beginnings at a relatively humble place on the graph and rises,

And it continues to rise through interpolated points to a climax,

And the best of possible deaths.

Graphically, the hero’s narrative describes the figure of ‘the half-hill’

    ‘the half-pyramid,’ ‘the half-mountain,’

    or ‘the launching ramp’

across the period of their timeline,

As if the hero ends their ‘climb’ on the top of ‘the mountain,’ or ‘the pyramid,’

Or at the top of ‘the launching ramp.’

    ...

Compare that, with where the standard character ends their story...

    At the bottom...

    In this –

The first in the series of special supplements

    You will learn

How to realize the narrative of the heroic character

In place of the narrative of the character,

    In your life...

    And in all things,

    How to be the Hero

    In your narratives,

    And not just a character.

    # 1 : HOW TO REALIZE IN ALL THINGS

    THE NARRATIVE OF THE HERO

The first book in the series, to which this is the first in the series of special

    Supplements,

    ‘Stalin II : A,’

Defines the narrative, its elements and its structure as

A time series of performances –

Of performances as different levels of performance

    Or

As the performance levels of a competitive performance

At different points in time ‘across’ its timeline

    ...

    The implication

    Is that

Not only do men realize narratives

But all things existing in time.

    ...

    For us

    This means that

Not only does your life realize a narrative

    But every thing in it.

    This supplement

Is about the realization of the heroic narrative of rise to peak

Not just in the macro structure of your life,

But in the micro structural narratives of every thing in your life.

    ...

    I will begin

with two examples and models –

Heroic narratives realized in the microstructural narratives

Of a concert set list, and a sandwich.

    1) A Set List For A Concert That Realizes The Heroic Narrative

In a graph of a narrative,

vertical extension or height is the height or the level of a competitive performance

    and

horizontal distance or length is time – time in the series of competitive

performances or time in the continuous competitive performance.

In a graph for a show that realizes the heroic narrative each successive song

On the set list – each successive competitive performance in the series is

A higher point – each successive song is a higher point ending on the highest,

    The peak.

I included this as the first example of a heroic narrative realized in the

    Microstructure of a life

    Precisely because

    You already know the power

Of a show that realizes a succession of powers rising to a peak.

What you might not know is that this is the power of the heroic narrative.

And what you don’t know is that this same narrative structuring of elements

Lends its power to anything –

    To a sandwich.

    2) A Sandwich That Realizes The Heroic Narrative

The narrative of a one course meal such as a sandwich
