Chapter 1

It's my 20th birthday today, am i taking it easy, having a party, having a good time? No I’m about to engage in one of the hardest fights I ever had, I’m face to face with him, one of the meanest looking people I ever seen, there's a look in his eyes like he’s pure evil, a look on his face like he's going to do whatever it takes to hurt me.

while I’m staring him in the eye’s I couldn’t help but notice a bead of sweat is running down from the side of his forehead to his cheek, either he's worried about the fight or it's hot in here, as I say that a bead of sweat hits me right in the corner of my eye, it stings a bit but it’s the least of my worries right now, it’s not good news though, it means its just hot in here if I’m sweating too, it could mean that I’m about to get my ass kicked, I notice people watching to the side us, cheering us on, come on, hit him I heard someone shout, knock him out, another one shouted, I guess its time to toughen up and go for it.

I brought my hands up to my face fast and tucked my head in, jabbed with my right hand, he was expecting it and ducked, he jabbed me straight in the ribs, the impact bent me over, while I was there I struck up at an angle straight on the nose, this moved him back a bit, as he stumbled I jabbed with my right then a left then another right, to him it must of felt like a machine gun Bang, Bang, Bang one after the other, he went straight to the floor like a ton of bricks, but that didn't stop me hitting him on the way down.

He stumbled back to his feet, he placed his hands up to protect him self, I knew this was my chance, I couldn’t let him get his breath back, so I hit him with my right, a left, another right, then as he wobbled backwards i swung with all my strength, Bang, it was like watching him go down in slow motion, straight to the floor, I reckon that’s where he was staying too.

As I stood there waiting for him to get back up I noticed a pain in my ribs, now stood there holding my side I looking down at him, he started getting up, I put my hand out to stop him getting to his feet when he swung his legs round and took me straight over backwards, suddenly a leg came over and hit me straight in the stomach, with that I curled over in a ball to my knees like a baby, he grabbed me in a choke hold from behind, I couldn't let him win, I Moved my body to the side and elbowed him in the mid section, again, again, and again, he had to let go, with that I swung round with all my strength and punched him straight in the face, this time he wasn't getting back up, i stood holding my side, the pain was still so intense, as soon as I knew for sure he wasn't getting up I relaxed and felt myself slump over to one side.

Thank god that was over, my eye felt a bit twitchy, but i'll be ok, after all, I won didn’t i, as I turned around the bell went, it was time to leave, i climbed out of the ring, another good
