This Novella is dedicated to a special fan who asked me if I would write about Sage and Sophia’s wedding. I hadn’t planned on it, but now I can’t imagine having skipped this day in the characters’ lives, so thank you America Ramirez this one’s for you!

Also a big thank you to Amanda R. who is starting a new adventure in editing and helped me whip this little gem into shape. Your time and love of the series means a great deal to me and I will be forever grateful to the new friendship I have found in you!

    Chapter One

    ––––––––

No way, Sage, you are not coming in here.

Sage smiled, he had a group of very passionate young women banning him from seeing Sophia. He couldn’t believe that they actually thought it would be bad luck for him to see her. But it was very obvious that on the morning of their wedding he and Sophia would be kept far apart.

Fine, if I can’t come in, can you ask her to stand behind the door so I can talk to her for a minute?

Bryn, Sarah, and Rachel exchanged suspicious glances.

Oh come on, there is no way I intend on breaking any of your rules about me seeing Sophia. You guys are scary; I won’t cross a witch, a banshee, and an impossibly stubborn human. I know when I’m beat.

I am not that stubborn. Rachel eyed him with the glare he had come to expect from her, and that very glare was what made him call her stubborn.

It’s alright; I promise we won’t break any of your rules. Sophia’s voice drifted out to Sage. His body responded to the sweet tenor of her voice. He had gotten so used to having her next to him in bed that when he woke up alone this morning he felt cold and uncomfortable.

The door nearly shut in Sage’s face as Sophia’s bridesmaids made sure he didn’t get a peek at his soon to be wife.

Good morning Gattino, Sage whispered through the inch size crack that had been left in the doorway.

Good morning, I missed you last night and this morning.

Sage growled a soft almost purr before responding. I missed you too; I told you when I proposed that I never wanted to wake up without your beautiful face being the first thing I see.

Sophia laughed softly. I remember word for word what you said.

    "Really?" Sage asked.

Um hum. She was the one purring this time. "It went like this ... ‘I wish for the light of your eyes to be the first sight I see upon awakening and to have the scent of your skin with me throughout every day, forever. Sposare me amore mio.’"

Mmm, you forgot one thing, Sage said huskily.

    Oh yeah? And what’s that?

    It started with Gattino.

"Yes your right, and it ended with us making love under the stars. Much like I intend tonight to end."

Sage felt the rumble in his throat and felt his body hardening at the thought of having his Gattino be his wife, and all the ways he had envisioned this night ending.

    "You
