We’re two worlds apart

That’s how it all began

You seemed as if you dwelleth

on the other side of the land

This love almost never to know

Young at heart when did it all start

You dwell amongst the meadows plain and tall

I hover beneath city lights all a glow

Miles apart we had no idea those quiet ways

would lead to such insightful days

Those creative ways would unravel

Things would never be the same

Going about the motions yes our craft’s our devotion

Something’s missing as you say – it certainly is

Where has the love gone

Why are we two worlds apart?

Don’t you know I’ve seen you in my dreams

You feel my presence although time has lingered on

We’ve only just begun to realize

We no longer analyze we take our time

have peace of mind – a knowing, belief

No longer must we distinguish

We’ll both dwell amidst coexist

Silence

If you only knew

these tears linger on because of you

Not a dry eye in this place

These walls wreak of silence

Although I hear your voice I can’t deny it

hovering repeatedly exclaiming let it be

My love’s come home

We each speak the same words

We each feel the other in turn

No matter where we are the stars align our hearts

We comprise the constellations –

such beautiful creations

Our hearts know the difference

We speak volumes only to know

this love stands strong

No matter the weather

no matter the distance –

this we just know

So go about the usual ways

You’ll find what’s ordinary plain

boring senseless obvious nonsense

We know that’s not the way

We know this heart that speaks to us

stands before the universe shining much needed light

upon the earth It’s welcoming such a lovely breeze

a breath of fresh air time to cast one’s cares

Yes, it’s all that it appears to be

Not a second longer not a minute conquered

At the turn of the hour once the sand’s transpired

the hourglass a capsule many granules left to share

No longer does the hourglass dictate this fate

The stage has been set the curtain has been risen

all that remains will play out in the frame exactly

as all is meant because these walls

no longer speak of silence.

These branches tell a many things

These branches tell a many things

Those leaves comprise this curiosity

Revealing itself through whatever

each season may bring

As it sways thoughts roam through the forests

gathering nourishment for yet another day

on this terrain on a plane that will

reap the benefits of this mind

yet another time for fate

has set the stage

Come with me let’s see

what these leaves have yet to tell

what these branches have begun to unfold

Let’s see some leaves will wither although

this tree remains to stand strong

Cycle of seasons tell me the reasons

why must the weather decide whether you blossom

or remain to camouflage those stems that stretch beyond

Because these branches tell a many things

Often transpiring to such marvelous heights

such intricacies many details never one in the same

It speaks the wisdom of the ages

it tells of much prevalence

Regardless of whether darkness falls, sunshine calls

moonlight beckons not for long it doesn’t matter

whether it rains or snows bring a heaviness

although it can’t complain no matter the

seasons no matter the reasons these

branches stand strong perhaps affected

never diminished not for long because

these branches will become anew

They continue on in the way that they do

revealing ever so subtly at the turn of every moment

growth a new lesson learned just another day

another second no longer delayed

these branches will continue

to tell a many things.

Outer Realm of Curiosity

Step outside what do we find

within this outer realm of curiosity

where everything’s green an atmosphere for living

no breath to listen to not unless we care to

decipher or hear yet another tune

What matters most

does this heart remain for the love that’s strong

will those flowers blossom yet another spring

will the wheel remain although some spokes

may change When things aren’t always the

same Yes – they must change within this

outer realm of curiosity

Let the mind wander through the tunnel

Discover whether that being exists among the rest

Does that number stand alone Does it even matter

has this heart found the real answer

Standing amongst the forests great and tall

we serve this purpose Yet this heart

must connect in more ways
