The Platinum Hall Debacle is the third of four prequel “lost chapters” to the science fiction adventure Time’s Tempest, book one in the Chronicles of Xannia series.

These lost chapters are significant moments that are touched on briefly in the main story to allow for a sense of the characters’ history and prior experience. Acting as mini-episodes, the scenes in the lost chapters provide a glimpse into the foundation of the people and problems facing the planet of Xannia.

Knowing the content of these lost chapters is not essential to understanding and enjoying the novel Time’s Tempest; they are meant to enrich your experience and provide a deeper foundation for, and thus a greater appreciation of, the trials faced in the main story.

Growing up in Ontario, Canada MJ was the only child of a single mom. Her passion for the arts ignited at a young age as she wrote adventure stories and read them aloud to close family and friends. The dramatic arts became a focus in high school as an aid to understanding character motivation in her writing. Majoring in Theatre Production in University with a minor in English, she went on to teach both elementary and high school for 10 years throughout Simcoe County.MJ currently lives with her husband and young son in Ontario, Canada. She is keeping busy these days running a website to help new and emerging authors that provides avenues for author platform building. MJ also continues to edit and write freelance as she continues her sci-fi series The Chronicles of Xannia. Book 1, Time's Tempest, is currently available on Amazon.
