The Giver Quartet was completed when the final book of the series was published in 2012.

The Giver Quartet begins with the first book of the series entitled The Giver. The first book focuses on the life of Jonas, a boy from a utopian society who is trained by The Giver.

Gathering Blue is the second book in the series. It focuses on a character named Kira and life in her community.

The third book of the series is called Messenger. The story includes characters from both The Giver and Gathering Blue. It also focuses on the life of a young boy named Matty.

The series culminates with the book Son. The final book ends the series with a battle between the forces of good and evil.
