Auction houses have record-smashing year

A lot of collectors are staying close to home these days and finding joy in adding pieces to their collections or furnishing their homes in a way that hasn’t been seen for a long time.

Auction houses in particular report that they have been attracting more new buyers, and some of their longtime buyers are getting better at navigating online bidding.
