Moses Tekere
Moses Tekere holds a PhD in International Economic Relations from Kiev State University and is the founding director of TRADES Centre. He has extensive experience in working on multilateral and regional trade policy issues and has worked in more than 30 African countries as a trade and economic policy advisor. Previously, he was a senior advisor on multilateral trade negotiations for SADC and has taught at the University of Zimbabwe (UZ), at Keio University in Tokyo, and at various other institutions of higher learning in East and Southern Africa. He is currently the Chief Technical Negotiator for East and Southern Africa (ESA) Group for Economic Partnership Agreements (EPA) with the European Union (EU). He has written and published extensively on international trade, regional trade integration and economic reforms and development.
