About this ebook
Marco Polo’s legendary journey overland from Xanadu in China to his home in Italy has fired the imaginations of travellers for 700 years. Even today, traversing the 20,000km Silk Road between Europe and the Far East is a perilous undertaking. But it sounded like just the challenge for Wellington economist Gareth Morgan and his intrepid wife Jo.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The story of a motorbike ride following in the path of Marco Polo. The book restricts itself to the experiences of the group of 6 people and does not attempt to provide detailed background on the area and its history. It would have benefited from a bit more "depth" but that may be an unreasonable criticism. The Morgans give us us a good easy read, about an adventurous journey.
