About this ebook

Includes Guides: Achieving Diamond in 5v5 Ranked Solo Queue (SEASON 3) & A GUIDE TO PROPERLY COUNTERPICK

These guides are intended for max level players interested in learning how to improve their ELO. Whether you are stuck at low ELO or you are just entering ranked, these guides will improve your gameplay.

These guides are not filled with fluff. I will not be explaining what League of Legends is and other obvious nuances of the game. It is simple and direct information to improve one's ranked position and assumes you know the absolute basics of the game (that anyone level 30 would know, ranked experience or not).

League of Legends - Terry Mcmillon

These guides are intended for max level players interested in learning how to improve their ELO.  Whether you are stuck at low ELO or you are just entering ranked, these guides will improve your gameplay.  These guides are not filled with fluff.  I will not be explaining what League of Legends is and other obvious nuances of the game.  It is simple and direct information to improve one's ranked position and assumes you know the absolute basics of the game (that anyone level 30 would know, ranked experience or not).  I have smurfed a lot at Bronze and Silver and will break down tips at certain levels.  That is, specific tips for Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum players.  This will help in terms of not bombarding you with tips and focusing on certain things that will aid you in attaining your promotion.  If you think you can handle adjusting to many tips at once, go ahead and read on through all the tier tips.  There is also a general section that includes tips for everyone.  The information I give you here comes from EXPERIENCE.  I have over 2500 ranked games played in season 3 alone, ranging from Bronze to Diamond level play.  The information here will be great for lower level players, and I am confident that a Bronze player could turn into a Gold player in a very short time using this guide.

    GENERAL TIPS AND TRICKS

CS And General Laning Phase Tips

One of the most important aspects of the game is CS'ing properly.  CS is just as important as killing Champions.  As a general rule of thumb, 12 cs is equal to 1 champion kill.  Therefore, if you are in a lane and you get killed, but you are up by 12 or more cs, don't get down on yourself.  In terms of gold, you are still equal (not factoring in global gold from Baron, Towers, and Dragon).

Never attempt to harass the enemy if it costs you to miss CS.

Generally, you do not want to push your lane while your enemy is there.  However, you also do not want the lane to push too far back to your turret.  Even if you are great at last-hitting under turret, you will still lose a few.  Therefore, auto attack minions in the back of the pack that are not being attack by other minions. (This assumes you are ranged.  If you are melee, never go that far up to auto unless it's for a last-hit)

This strategy does 3 things.  1 - it keeps the lane from pushing to your tower and thus making you lose a less cs.  2 - You want to try to keep from auto attacking minions that are under fire from your own minions because you may be stuck between auto
