Daughters of God - Sheryll Gainer

Sheryll Gainer is an awesome daughter of God, achieving goals and dreams which at sometime seemed impossible. God has brought her a long way and she is now empowered to help others. She leads an outstanding and honorable life before God and man. Sheryll is an authentic example of persistence. Her work entails tremendous life experiences, which captivate and refresh the reader’s mind.  Amid all the extenuating circumstances she has gone through, God delivered her out of them all.  This book will minister to the believer, unbeliever, the old and young. It administers life to the lifeless, hope to the hopeless and strength to the weak. I am so proud of Sheryll and this great accomplishment. I cannot wait for the sequel. God bless you.

To God be the glory!!! I've known Lady Sheryll Gainer for more than10 years. In fact her daughter Na’ Jae is my goddaughter.  Lady Sheryll has grown so much in the Lord.  God has truly blessed her and enlightened her! I truly love this book the Lord led Lady Sheryll Gainer to write.  Daughters of God is very powerful and encouraging.  As I was reading, it felt as though Lady Sheryll was right next to me pushing me along like a life coach. Each chapter of the book builds upon each other. At the end of the chapter you are blessed with a prayer and a tip to walk away with.  Finally, at the closing of this book you will feel empowered, energized, and confident. You will be ready to face the world standing bright and tall, shoulders squared back declaring Yes, I AM A DAUGHTER OF GOD!!!!! I’m going to forgive those who may have hurt me, I’m going to forgive myself, and I'm going to put my past behind me, pressing towards the mark of the high calling of God. (Philippians 3:14)

I would like to say that this book is incredible! I feel the impact this book will have on not just women but also men who pick it up and read it will be tremendous. Just for the author to be so transparent and let us into her world and her journey is enlightening to say the least. She also helps us realize and understand that, no matter what the circumstance or situation, the blessed fact is I am somebody, I am a child of the most high, and I don’t have to walk around with my head hung low. I can walk around proud with the assurance My heavenly Father loves me and, most of all, has my back. I also am proud I have the pleasure of being married to the author. Thank you, Jesus, for allowing Sheryll to enter my life and make a difference!!!

About the Author

Preface

Why do so many young girls wind up abused, hurt, misunderstood, neglected mistreated, misguided and gullible? Do you know?

Unfortunately, I learned the answer the hard way.

Little girls need their daddies. They need a man speaking life into them so they can appreciate who they are. When they do, no sneaker wearing, pimp playing, Mack daddies wanna be will enter their lives. It’s because another man was speaking to them about men, telling them what the other men will say, and want.

Without that positive role model, some women turn to older men for support. Some are mislead. Others are abused. Some turn into street walkers or wind up on drugs – that includes alcohol and cigarettes. Many land in abusive relationships.

Yes, there are predators waiting for young, gullible girls. They are waiting to do whatever they want with them. That’s why I decided to write this book. I got tired of seeing my sisters struggling day after day, not knowing whom to trust or where they should turn for help.

There’s a lot a mother can teach her daughter about how to become a woman. Don’t get me wrong. There is no replacing a mother’s love. But there’s something special about fathers too. There’s no replacement for a father telling his daughter what she should look for in a man.

So although my mother did a wonderful job teaching me how to become a woman, there still was a void. There was pain because of my father’s absence.

Raised in south Bronx, New York, I was molested at age nine and raped at age 15. I was the only
