About this ebook

Instructions: Use copy or select all with microsoft word to print this great set of activities for ages 3 to 5.This ebook for Pre-K children is composed of three contents for pre-reading, pre-writing, and art for a total of 75 different activities. Under each content heading you will find practice skills for coloring, dot-to-dot, cut and paste, and tracing. The four different skills sets reinforce academic skills by creating different methods for completing the same objective or objectives. It provides for the child to work the same objective by applying four skill methods. In the coloring skill the child practices his or her abilities, eye and hand coordination, by pairing the intended objective with coloring. The same objective is repeated using the skill of dot-to-dot mapping, again an academic and reinforcement approach. With cut and paste the objective is again reinforced through kinesthetic methods. The trace method provides more academic reinforcement using finer eye and hand coordination methods. The main purpose for using the four skills sets is simple. By reinforcing the same objective in at least four different ways the child increases his or her learning opportunity. It also provides at least one skills method that may create an easy way to start and maintain academic success as the child learns to focus on work and concentration increases. With four different skill sets to work with the child will find the practice more engaging and rewarding over time. Under good guidance and support the child will develop a strong and more positive affinity for academics in general.
