About this ebook

Exit Apocalypse-3, is the third of four serials based on the full length Novel, The Exit, of the Blue Moon Chronicles, by Todd Boddy.
The 'Blue Moon Chronicles’ Novels are an apocalyptic saga, narrated by Shem, a mysterious Elder from the Blue Moon of Siyon, ancient home of the angels.

Monitoring technological breakthroughs in human wormhole technology, a desperate insurgency of darkened powers has given up hope on Lucifer's attempt to overthrow God. Instead; they make plans to exit the earth and future apocalypse for a new world where they hope to be restored.

Secretly fronting the insurgency, a father and his beautiful daughter, both of powerful Nephilim heritage, develop the Sanctuary Corporation to build and market worldwide jump stations. Their goal is to lure the humans, (“image bearers”), to voluntarily and unknowingly serve as transport hosts to these fallen sentinels to a far distant universe to a new home.

However, not without opposition, a war worn, ancient Wind of Light improvises a plan based on his faith to fight the unforeseen changing of the end of history. Criticized by his fellow Legionnaires, his somewhat strange plans begin to fall into place with the help from beyond the Magnificon.

Todd Boddy

Todd comes from a military family who settled down in South side of Austin TX in the 70's. It was an exciting time, a great place to grow up and stretch the imagination in what was developing as America's 'Third Coast', playing youth sports in S.Austin and skiing with friends on Lake Austin & Travis. He now resides outside Princeton TX in a semi-rural area close to Lake Lavon with nearby cotton, hay, and okra fields, cattle and horses, which he admires, but admits he'd rather be playing golf. He and his wife Loretta have between them four children, four grandchildren and two dogs.Todd attended the University of Texas at Austin, BA in Psy, minor Ancient Gk, and then Dallas Theological Seminary, ThM with emphasis on world religions. Never one to be pigeon holed he has enjoyed work as a framer, baseball umpire, landscaper, youth pastor, Sr. Pastor, financial consultant, missions coordinator and dog park minister, and now author. He delivered his first sermon at age seventeen and has written many short stories, dramas, and newspaper articles. Todd currently pastors a small rural TX church where he splits his time writing. His new Blue Moon Chronicle series, beginning with The Exit, is the culmination of his interests in exploring questions resulting from the cross roads of science, technology, spirituality, apocalyptic themes, and faith. Volume II in the BMC series, Two Suns Rising, will be out in March 2014.The great golf instructor/philosopher, Harvey Pinick quipped "if you play golf, you are my friend." These are analogous words to building bridges with strangers about something you love. Todd hopes his books accomplish this and entertain along the way

    Chapter 1

To your devil, your dysfunctional family, blood is thicker than water.

Ru put her hands on her hips to defend her matter of fact reply, You needed confirmation to trust me.

Victoria’s hands went to her own hips to mock her, Was that real?

Ru lowered the attitude, Yes and no. You were not physically outside of this room, but by means of Ouriano, I communed with them and you. The winds of light can communicate with each other across distances, times, and dimensions. For those who have become darkened, it is much more difficult.

How then could you communicate? You strike me as sort of dark.

"I’m not sure. I am a mix breed; a fallen angel, and like you a fallen human. I have the conscience, body, and eternal spirit of a human, the ability to transverse and heal like some of the angelic race. Yet I also carry the infection of Beltshzan but have yet to come under judgment. When the death eater came for me it was Ouriano who struck a deal to allow me to live because I might become an asset for a time like this. He appealed my need for capture and immediate death. I lived with Ouriano on the Blue Moon for mentoring and later returned to my orphaned life in the former Yugoslavia. I don’t remember all of it, unfortunately I have to rely on what others tell me. Still trying to sort it out.

Ouriano is greatly feared by the dark angelic stock, angelorum lapsus, because he doesn't play by the rules. He is one of the few loyal angels given free range. He receives assignments which require something most angels do not have, faith. This makes him unpredictable to his enemies.

I am a second-generation Nephilim. Most like me only lived for a few hundred years, millennia ago, because of our domination of humans. The unexpected genetic experiment was cut off. And, most like me were killed, or were exiled to a world of their own where they slowly preyed on each other to extinction. A few escaped.

We were part of Beltshzan's plan to disrupt the genetic sequence of humans and build a new world with him when the edict to end the experiment was given. Cuzak is one of those who escaped. His father is Beltshzan, his mother was from the human line of the ancient warrior Lamech, a descendant of the line of Cain. Beltshzan helped him find a secret refuge, but later lost Cuzak's allegiance because he couldn't transform this world or find a new one."

Victoria was trying to follow Ru’s story. Whoa, Goth girl! I saw the wingspan, and now you are telling me that you are not a demon, an angel, nor a human, and your father is the son of the Devil?

Ru nodded. Yes, I am afraid so. And like all angels, I too have a natural internal homing for Yare'ach Kachol, the Blue Moon of Siyon. I was given a temporary stay on my infection which allows me to transmigrate between what you would call heaven and earth. Cuzak does not know the extent of my development or training, but he suspects something. For now, please do what he asks.

Do I have a choice? You have me in a cage.

You are almost free, Dr. Pruett. Please don't hate me. Ouriano told me, ‘Some things must come to pass.’

And why would I hate Ms. Zvonimira? Because you might have to prove your allegiance?

Dr. Pruett almost read her mind. Ru kept looking around the room then answered, Allegiance?

To your devil? Your dysfunctional family? Blood is thicker than water. ‘Woe to those through whom evil comes to pass.’

Yes, I have heard that, but it is not always true, Dr. Pruett. The future is up to us to shape. I am of the belief that while I acknowledge a barbaric heritage I choose a new fate. Ouriano has taught me about faith.

Does your father know of your, how do I say, abilities?

He may know more than he leads on, but he is proud of me.

What if he finds out? From what you’ve told me, I wouldn't put it past him to play us against each other. So the million dollar question is, ‘Would you kill me if he asked?’

Dr. Pruett, seeing as you have already made an attempt on me, I’ll tell you when he asks. Fair enough?

    Chapter 2

Can you find something which cannot be known?

As the blood flowed back into Lucas’ hands, a juvenile male Neanderthal ran up, spouting a guttural language and pointing back to the jungle thicket. At the same time, three small wild boars bounded in through the ferns, then transformed themselves into the chameleon species. They huddled with the humanoids who were negotiating the fate of the alien Juwaan.

A mature male and female lifted him to his feet, then handed him over to two younger males. Their clothing consisted of leather loincloths, their necks adorned with rough-hewn jeweled necklaces of red, yellow, blue crystal and turquoise. The skin of their backs were studded by small pieces of similar stones. Aided by short stocky legs, solid torsos, wide feet, and thick ankles and wrists; they carried his six foot, one hundred and ninety pound frame with ease. When he stood unassisted, Lucas’ thigh throbbed worse the more weight he placed upon it, but the bleeding had ceased.

The caravan descended single file through a valley of steaming cauldrons of reddish brown mud, which belched bubbles of septic and sulfur gas. Little breeze and high humidity added to the misery. In one such pit, the
