Master's Email

Chapter One

Alexis rolled away from the bright sunshine and pulled the covers up to her chin. She breathed in the scent of newly blossomed hyacinths that drifted in through the open window to mix with freshly brewing coffee. The bed never felt as comfy as it did just before it was time to get up and the warm sheets cuddled close around her naked body. She loved sleeping nude; it had nothing to do with Master preferring her that way.

Master’s empty pillow lay beside her. She hated when he traveled but he’d be home in two more days. Pulling his feather pillow close enough to hug, she breathed in his scent of Obsession and her mind envisioned the fun they’d have when he got home. Her fingers ached to roam over Colt’s broad shoulders and biceps and her body needed to feel the touch of his hands...or was it more his crop? She couldn’t help but smile as she replaced his pillow, tossed back the covers and swung her feet out of bed. Stretching her arms overhead, she breathed in the scent of hyacinths and arched her back, tightening her muscles to get her blood moving. She reached for her short, pink chenille robe, slipped her arms into the fuzzy comfort and headed down the hall to the office to check her email.

Impatiently tapping her toe, she waited for her email account to connect as the butterflies fluttered in her stomach. What exciting activities would Master have for her today? A cup of fresh coffee beckoned her but nothing came before her Master’s email.

She knew better, not that she always obeyed...and then she wondered why that was. Did she enjoy being disciplined? Or was it that she tried to see how far she could get with him? Now, that wasn’t true either. Colt allowed her to think for herself each time he presented her with a request, as he put it. She could obey...or not!
